If it is the push rod length, if you remove the brake lever, the brakes will free up. By that, I mean undo the locknut on the pivot bolt underneath the lever, unscrew the pivot bolt, and slide the lever out of its bracket. I can't remember if there is anything in there to drop onto the floor, but remove it slowly with your other hand undeneath in case.

Will do and thought that was only way to rule that out or in. There is an acorn nut on bottom you can drop but for testing I’d leave that off anyway. handle screw is threaded into cylinder and acorn is just a secondary lock nut. Appreciate the input!!!
