A guy at my work has a sideline job selling and fitting bike tyres and recently we got talking about replacement tyres on my 1300.

I explained that I always used Bridgestone 020's at work and the fact that it was a shame they had stopped making them and replaced them with the newer 021's.

He then onto explain that he believes that Bridgestone are possibly bringing the 020's back into circulation. He believes that Bridgestone have noticed that the 012's have never caught on and are aware that some reports they have had on the 021's is the bad reports on grip in the wet.

I used one of the work 1100's in the wet which had 021's fitted and i just could not feel relaxed as I was with the bike when it had 020's fitted.

Anyway, hope this about turn by Bridgestone will come true, I have just put my last set of 020's from my garage onto my bike so I will be shopping around for a spare set.

I was going to buy a set of Avon Storms but I might just hang off a bit and see what develops.
 
I thought the 020 were still being made. Isn't it the only tire that "Honda" appoves for the ST? I think Bridgestone will continue to make it for the ST until there is another tire offically approved by Honda. I could be wrong though:eek::
 
I just put a new set of 021's on my 93 ABS. I only have about a hundred miles on them and will do some backroad riding this weeked. The road will probably be wet in places and I will let you know how they feel.

I ran one 021 ... that's enough of them for me.

I did not like that tire on the front and I swapped it quick.

The 020 is the better tire for the front and when paired with the Shinko rear you get a very good feel for the roadway.

How is that Shinko working out?? Look like you are going to get some
decent mileage out of it??

Got 11k on my first 020 set. Just purchased new set for $299. Dunlaps, extra $100. No way! 11-12k is good enough for me.

Was $299 installed? If not it sounds expensive, you should have been able to buy the set of 020 tires for around $230.

Evidently Honda still approves the Dunlop 220's, as that is what came on my 08 ABS. I'll be replacing them with the 020 F's when they wear out, though. I liked them better than the 220's and Z6's I tried on my other ST1300's.
 
Just put a set of 020's on today. First set, 10.5k with 1-2k left. Whatever Honda recommends, that's what I do. I'm too stupid to think I know better. Happy with the Bridgestones! Paid 299$ and about 90$ to install.

Wow, it's pretty expensive that you've paid. I recommend you to check with member Two Brothers. I bought the 020's last year from him around $220 shipped.

Just had a set of 020's fitted on the 1300 last week, no problems with any supply as far as I am am aware, still going strong.
