Bridgestone Tyres - BT 023 or BT 32

The 11 wasnt that high if i remember correctly

The owners manual for the 1100 says 36/42 f/r for the ST1100. cold.

Although there isn't a law specifically around tyre pressures in the uk, there is a law about driving with tyres in an unsafe condition, and significantly incorrect tyre pressures would be considered unsafe. A 10% margin is sometimes mentioned.

So I was just pointing out the correct info.

42 psi for a tyre that should be 36psi (cold) is 17% over inflated.
36 psi for a tyre that should be 42psi (cold) is 14% under inflated.

And accident scene investigators have been known to check tyre pressures.

For the ST1300 Honda recommends 42 psi front and rear.

However according to Calsci manufacturers recommend 36/42 F/R. https://motorcycleinfo.calsci.com/ST1300_a.html

I used to do 36/42 and recently did 42/42. Will probably go back to 36/42 since the front tire wears a lot more slowly and has less load.
