G'Day...

14°/24°C, another day blue skies and glaring sunshine... and a high temp warning issued... pfffff...
(and rain predicted for the weekend... of course...)

Office, quite busy actually (astonishing for an orphaned, 1/2 weekday...), already done sipping my second load in form of a scolding hot Nescafé brew...

GF has the grand-kid over the w/e, today they're out on a hiking trail with some (easy) 'via ferrata'... that's gonna be fun... ;)
Brought up in a city flat, the kid can surely use some training in motor skills and eye coordination...
She's hyperactive and likes to dart around, but I've seldomly observed a kiddo flat-facing the ground that often...

So I've a few days off ;), gonna get to the shop and investigate the '94 ST...

TGIF!

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the Nescafe, Martin. Enjoy your time not in the presence of your favorite terrorist GF's grandkid.

It's 69°F in Rockville and the birds are singing away as the sky begins to lighten. Mostly sunny and a high around 83 is what we expect.

The only thing on my calendar for today is a routine visit to my GP. I think I was supposed to have had blood work done in advance but it wasn't on my calendar nor did I receive any reminders so perhaps I'm mistaken.

Not much else going on here. My brother and I ran a technical test yesterday to be sure we knew what to expect for tomorrow's two Zoom-based memorials for our departed brother. Although I would have preferred to see our cousins in person, we're doing it on Zoom in recognition of Bruce's wish that nobody travel for such a thing (he was increasingly concerned about carbon footprints and climate change).

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, all. Thanks for the brew, Martin.

64/78 are the numbers, with heavy rain this afternoon. Got a few errands to run this morning, before the deluge sets in. Grocery pickup, followed by trip to vet’s office for another bottle of ear wash for Teddy. Then a quick stop by my daughter’s house to drop off her birthday present.

Have a great day, y’all.

John

Good morning, all, and thanks for the start-up, Martin.

Once again, we have awoken to a gloomy, very soggy morning here, with a not-too-cold temp of 11°C/52°F. It's going to rain for a few more hours, then things should switch to a mix of sun and clouds, then mainly sunny conditions with a pleasant high of 22°C/72°F.
The recent mix of rain and sun, along with a few warm days, has finally resulted in the emergence of greenery! Hallelujah! There are tender little leaves popping out on the trees, and the apple blossoms are about to bloom, as are the magnolias! There are some gorgeous magnolia trees around here, I'll try to get a pic of one or two of them at peak bloom. Their blooming season is very short, as we're so far north, so we have to enjoy them while we have them!

I'm off to my apparently, extremely confused Mazda dealership to have my winter tires swapped out for all seasons. I very much doubt the service department is clear on that, so this should be interesting. I got a call at the beginning of the week to remind me of my appointment for "servicing on my 2022 Mazda CX-3." I told the rep that I no longer have that vehicle. Apparently the Sales department and the Service department have separate systems and don't talk to each other very well. After an increasingly annoying conversation with a service rep who didn't sound like the sharpest knife in the drawer, I gave instructions to simply keep my appointment for today, but to make a note in the system that it's just for a change of tires on a 2025 Mazda CX-30 and not for any other servicing. Yesterday afternoon, I got a text message reminding me of my appointment "for servicing on my 2025 Mazda CX-30." Well, at least they got the right vehicle this time. Lord knows if they've gotten my tires out or not. They'd better not charge me for an oil or any other fluid change, or I'll go through the roof.

Aaaanyhoo. Everybody have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's cloudy and 53, on the way to 78 with some sun, later.
The TV weather people have been talking up potential rain, but Weather Underground weather radar only shows a patch of rain to the west.

I've also got an appointment to turn in my BP paperwork, and figure out any new meds, so I'll chance it on the Wing.

I did get out to the gym and for a walk with the neighbor's pup, and I'll try to repeat at least the gym, today. We got a little over 5 miles of walking done, yesterday.
The restaurant that we went to had a chicken calzone special, which wasn't too bad. Leftovers may become breakfast.

I'll also try to get down to assemble a screen kit for my friend's back door.

Take care, and have a great day,
Steve

Boy, good thing I'm WFH today or I'd be late again. A cloudy but very nice 70F/22C this morning, and the coffee just makes it better. Thanks!

Got nothing done yesterday but for good reason. We had a final gathering of the family at a local Korean BBQ before our son moves out and down to NC. It wasn't cheap, but the all-you-can-eat choice was monster! A delicious sendoff! And it was my first experience with a robot "server" that brought out our choices. Took a little getting used to but it was fine if a little gimmicky. Food did arrive quickly. Afterwards I just wanted to sleep and digest.

Today I get to do aforementioned work and maybe a little volleyball if I can gather enough ppl before the rain storms pop up. And eh, we'll see what else needs fixing I guess. Take care y'all!

Happy end-of-the-week-for-most, I will call it Friday, just because I can.
I'll take tomorrow off from work.
John's sending us his rain tonight, and the 'casters are whispering hail and maybe twisters. That won't be good, if it pans out.
Beyond that, I'll have one more coffee, then likely another. And then maybe a refill. You get the idea.
The trailer carpet is still drying out, maybe the rain will move on after lunchtime on Saturday.
Make it a good one, whichever one that may be.

Good morning,
Sunny this morning 10 C/50 F highs 19 C/67 F , perfect day for a ride if my body recovers from yesterday's work on Trailer. Yes got the floor back together, and pieces to get at the floor. So trailer is now functioning as it should, Yay! Should call it a Park Model, or Mobile home with the wheels on it. Got home at 11:59 pm,was a long day yesterday.
Today's agenda, napping and hopefully a ride, cheers and thanks Martin for coffee, Y'all have a good day,G

Morning Martin & All from mixed clouds & Sun, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 61F, up from 34F and heading for 72F. A slight breeze now, but later, with some storms coming in for the weekend, we will see the winds from the NW @ 5 to 10mph. The Weather guessers are at it again, claiming we'll see rain on Sunday thru Tuesday. Sure, I'll believe it when it's on the ground! :well1:

I was able to get a number of tasks done on the AZ05 bike yesterday. But as I have said, when I make mistakes, I get to fix them without the world knowing. So I have one today. I'll take care of it after I hit Wally World & ACE, this morning.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good morning all!
Thanks for the start Martin.
Well, yesterday’s Chi-Cheemaun extravaganza was great! We enjoyed a lovely roast beef dinner complete with all the fixin’s!
We departed about noon & we’re at Tobermory for about 5 PM.
We all enjoyed the cruise!
We hadn’t been along that shore until yesterday, so it was interesting.
Enjoy your day!
Gotta run.
