Had to start the year off with a ride. It was a short one only 45 miles, I rode so little last year I figured by starting the year with a ride it will kick start me into a good year of riding. A bit chilly, tips of my fingers got cold but over all I just felt a little cool.

If you keep that up you'll have to start posting your rides in the PaulCB Coldest Ride thread with a photo of your bike and a temperature sign.

Your ride today was longer than mine. I only rode 38 miles at 22.2*F temp. Actually it was colder than that but I couldn't get a picture before my temp sensor warmed up from engine heat and maybe a bit of sun.

I rode about 300 miles yesterday. It was 35°F when I left the house. Warmed into the mid 50's by the time I got home. Sunny and a great day for a ride.

After a couple of sub-freezing mornings, it was a balmy 45F on this morning's ride to work. Didn't even need the electrics.
But rain is inbound before I get away, so Kaiser stayed home and dry.

On the 8th of March we had 70 degree weather here in southern Wisconsin and the salt was off the road so my gal jumped on the back and we had a nice ride to eat, only about 60 miles but it was great to be back on the bike.
