BS 020 Rear tire sale-amazon

That's the radial version - I use the bias version (and have 5 hanging up in Uncle Phil's Motorcycle Parts House). ;)
So, being the radial version, would this cheap rear (due to 0322 date) still fit our bike (1100) Phil?

I ordered one and received a confirmation. Wonder if it's a pricing mistake or if the tires are old. I've used several of these tires over the years on different ST1300's. They don't last too long for me 3500-5000 miles but the grip is amazing and they were OEM from the factory so they're spec'd for the weight of the ST. Can't go wrong for this price.

It's Chap Moto selling the tires on Amazon, went to their site and the tire does have an old date code and is listed as a closeout. The date code is 03/22 so already 3 years old. I don't really have a problem riding on a 3 or 4 year old rear tire, won't last me a year anyway.

Yep it's a few years old. No concerns from me riding on a few year old tire which was stored in a warehouse/my basement.

Wish they had a front at this price.

Yes it will still fit (assuming it is the 160/70/17) - it's just the radial version not the bias version.
And as Al pointed out (and I have before) the 170/60 will work with very little difference noticeable.
I don't sweat the dates - how long does a mounted tire stay on the bike for most people (usually a few years)? ;)

ChapMoto (which I would prefer to use rather than Amazon) shows BT-020F. Is that not the designation for a FRONT? They also show a speed rating of W rather then Z (not that it matters) and no load index at all (it should be 72)
As for size, it does lead to 170/60ZR-17.

Amazon shows max psi as 72.
Don't these people check their specs/numbers?

Good deal, but I use Shinko. It's preferably to have 2 of them from the same brand and type.
