I'm looking to add a spot to charge my phone and my Cardo while using. On my GS I have a USB A port on the bike and I bought a 2' long cord 4 port USB A hub that I keep in my tank bag it powers my cell phone and my Cardo. Now I'd like to add the thing to my '25 T7 except it has an OEM USB C port. So everything I am finding says it's not for charging. Will it still charge like the GS does? Any other ideas? This what I'm looking at on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCDZWH5...83QTB23EH&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1

That's a data cable, not powered.

Yeah, all I'm seeing are data cable. Hence the post. Trying to not use an adapter coming off the bike. Too many pieces. Maybe I'm using the wrong verbiage for my search? The link in the first post is exactly what I want except it needs to charge. Is there such a thing?

Thanks Larry but those are both non-charging. I might test the one I already have on the GS to see if it will work (charge).
Larry's first link says it is for charging, but the whole device is probably bigger than you want. I confess to being confused. I have an iPhone16 that takes a USB-C cable that plugs into my Mac Mini - for charging and syncing. I also use a similar cable plugged into a small cube transformer to charge the phone. Why would the port on your bike be for data only? The bike is not going to communicate w/ your phone. What am I missing here?

The port on the bike is a USB-C charge port. Charging and non- charging cables are common. Getting a USB-C charging cable to charge any one device is simple.

The problem seems to be finding a USB-C hub that plugs in to the bike's USB-C port and charges two USB-3/Type A devices simultaneously. Larry's link might do the trick though with a lot of hubs there are many extra unneeded ports.

Maybe a USB-C to USB3 adapter might work with his current hub. This one states it does charging. Amazon's return policy is fairly generous.

The current cable connecting the hub to the GS could be swapped for a USB-C to USB3 cable instead of an adapter. Finding a 2' cable might be a problem. 1M cables are pretty common.

The port on the bike is not for data only. It is an accessory power port. I need to find a 16'-24" male USB C cord to go to the tank bag which ideally would have 2-4 USB A female ports to charge my current iPhone 14 Pro when needed as well as the Cardo Packtalk Edge when needed. I would hope it to be like the link in the original post EXCEPT that it will facilitate charging. If you open the link and scroll down about mid way it says in the Power Usage section (This USB hub does not support charging.)

Maybe it would still work? I don't know.

Search amazon for

I'm hoping to not have 3 connections at the dash. USB C to USB A to cord. I did not think it would really be this hard.

Mellow's suggestion looks viable.
