Good morning everyone

There's a pot of Cubano roast ready and waiting for you. Happy Monday, if there is such a thing.

It's 39°F and clear in Rockville, where we expect a sunny high around 67.

Goof today with three others from the old guy group makes the main calendar event of the day. I've now completed 65 orbits of Sol, so dinner somewhere with Mrs. Fun will fill the evening hours.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

thanks for the start Keith Id take a Cubano it just sounds like it must be good
and it is a happy monday - the start of a few days off
announced to TLCFTSA hey guess what Im off for a few days - "ugh"
oh yes, the unfiltered heartfelt response you get when youve enjoyed the blissful happiness and joy of a long term relationship
anyway, the bikes like me weather still looks good to be out and about will see how much trouble I can get into
or out of

wish everyone a good one and a safe ride if you're able

Good morning, all. Thanks for the starting fluid, Keith.

For some unknown reason, I got out of bed and stumbled to the kitchen and made coffee before looking at the clock. While taking the first sip of ambition, I glanced at the microwave clock. *****, it’s 3:45. At this point it too late, so I’ll just stay up a few hours, until first nap time rolls around.

Cool start at 43, headed to a clear and sunny 70. At some time, I have to check the operation of my heating system, but right now, I’m really enjoying the house at 63 degrees. I guess the 6 straight weeks of upper 90’s, burned me out on enjoying summer. (Pun intended)

John

Thx Keith, me gusta cubano!

11˚c/52f, slight breeze from north, sunny.

Yesterdays fishing trip was nice, the catch was ok, 3 pollocks.
Turned then into fillets, will be eaten tomorrow.

Peter is a bit under the weather, so we’re at his house today, caring.

Had an early doctors appointment, and was awarded with a referral to a MR.
Lets see how that plays out.

Have a good one!
Stu

At some time, I have to check the operation of my heating system

When I flipped our system from Cool to Heat yesterday the panel displayed the message "Control failure. Contact service technician."

Argh.

Our guy, the same who supplied and installed the unit 18 years ago, will be here sometime this afternoon. We talked for fifteen minutes yesterday and he said this is a failure he's never seen before.

At least the gas fireplace in the man cave works, and I could also use the wood burning fireplace downstairs if it came to it.

Hope your experience is better than mine.

Happy Birthday Keith! :birthday: (and thanks for the coffee)

Good morning to the rest of you.

Below freezing here, thus a cage day. It'll be sunny and 14 for the drive home, which is just a tease. That's perfectly fine riding weather, unlike the sub zeros in the mornings.

We booked our Newfoundland ferry for July & August of 2027. Depending on the date, the ferry was already full! Accommodations too, were already booked up depending on the date. I managed to get a pet friendly 4 berth (2 single bunk beds) room for the night crossing home. We did a day crossing to go to Newfoundland, so no berth is required for that. The trip will be 15 days (12 days on the Rock) this year, as the 12 days we did on 2025 (9 days on the Rock) weren't enough to see what we wanted. Hope to catch up with @Happy Rob & his Mrs for the Brigus blueberry festival.

Hope everyone has an excellent day, and if travelling on the ferry, books early!

Obo.

Good morning, and thanks for the Cubano coffee, Keith.
Happy Birthday!

It's clear and 29 this morning, rising to 61 with plenty of sun, later.

Yesterdays car day went well at the track in Thompson, while Brenda also had a decent one at the track in NH.

Today, I'll head back to Thompson for a Club track event there.

Enjoy the day.
Steve

Thanks Keith, again.
John, you can sleep "later" when we go back to Daylight Savings Time. Sorry about your internal timepiece.
Happy Monday, if there is such a thing.
Well, for you retired folks, it should ALWAYS be a Happy Monday.
If it's not, I suspect you may be doing something wrong.
On top of all that, it's your birthday (so Happy Birthday to ya!), so there's more reason to have a great day.
Meanwhile, I have work to do before i / we go to work, so I'll get to it.
It won't be 50° for a while yet, Roz' air conditioner went out, so we took her Civic to the garage last night, and I'll have to wear more clothes to get to work.
At 0619, the sun isn't showing up yet, but at least it won't rain today.
I feel like it's time to check in with the coldest ride of the year list, and we ain't even SEEN cold yet.
I.
Will.
Not.
Complain.
(At least not publicly, but I am not happy about this.)

... coffee, for that Monday mourning... :coffee:

Morning Keith & All from an overcast morning in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 58F, up from 48F and heading for 63F, with possible showers at some point today. The winds are blowing already, from the SSE @ 6 to 8mph. Later, they be from the SSW ! 19 to 12mph.

:birthday: Keith! :hat3:

Chris made it down to ST George, yesterday afternoon, as I was heading for church. I'm sure she'll have a great time down there with all her friends! :)

Today, I'll be heading down there too, except to Costco for an Eye Exam and see about some new glasses.

Eggs, bacon, toast, OJ & Lemon Tea for the morning start. Pepsi is scheduled for lunch!

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
