Well, I fell this morning on my way to work
Hit some oil and was on the ground before I knew I was falling. going about 55 at the time, right side of Moby got it bad, pannier, mirror, black fairing at bottom. It's still rideable (friend from work rode it rest of way to the shop) mostly cosmetic
I'm alright, tore up my index finger on right hand, but my gear did it's job. I'll post some pictures when I can

Dang, sorry to hear that Rich... glad to hear it wasn't as bad as it could have been. Lots of wrecks this morning in DFW for some odd reason.

Heal up quickly.

Relieved to read you are, for the most part, OK. Heal yourself up, patch up the damage until you can get parts for the repairs and get back on that horse.

As with everyone else, I'm glad to hear it wasn't worse, that you're basically good, and that the gear did what it was supposed to. Best wishes going forward from here.

Sorry to hear as well- it’s a very frustrating experience. Was it just oil in the roadway or an oily patch with rainwater? I stopped today at a gas station and when I was backing from the spot, my right foot slid on an oil patch but I didn’t topple the bike.
