And sourdough bread with swedish mustard herring.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Stu.

It's 45, rising to 77 today in NH, and it'll be sunny as we'll.

Yesterday was okay ,temperature-wise, but the wind was brutal.
I flagged at turn 5, and since we had a person in turn 6, things moved along pretty well.

Today, we race. I'll probably ask for a different flag station than my usual, but that's up to our race coordinator.

8C and sunny for the ride into work this morning. I guess it could be worse in many ways, right?

By the time I leave it should be up to 19. The temps sure have been yoyo-ing here as of late. There's even some hints of red in the trees.

Obo's going to work today? That stinks... it's the weekend!
Key word being "end", as in no more working for pay. Now we work for free.
Today has things to do, but I haven't figured out what they are yet.
But there's still time.
And more coffee to drink first, anyway.
Monday we might get that Darn Deere running (already rescheduled from this past Wednesday), but it will cost me less than having the dealer come retrieve it, fix it, and return it, not to mention their shop rates.
Nothing runs like a Deere.
Ever heard that?
Well, apparently nothing SITS like one, either.

Unfortunately, nothing is moving because we've used up all 3 ambulances in a turn 1A crash.
4 riders down.
It looked to me like a lowside into another bike, then two other bikes ran over the first two.

Now about that John Deere...

Morning Stu & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 71F, heading for 83F. Later, we'll have a few clouds around, but we aren't expecting anything but more winds. Which have been blowing all night, since we have a few fronts floating by. The winds speeds have been between 5 to 17mph. Later they are expected from the SSW @ 21 to 31mph.

Nice picture Stu. Sure looks like a calm river. Unlike most of our that are always in a big hurry! :unsure-2x:

The fridge repair guys came by. Not good. Seems the freon is leaking, from a 5.5 year old fridge! :censored::censored::censored::censored::censored: They'll be back on Tuesday to pull it out and recharge it, and we'll have to see how long that will last.

Folks are on their way to WeSTOCK 30! I'll be getting with the early birds tomorrow at the hotel, to kickstart things! ;)

I spent most of the day making centerpieces for the dinner tables. I hope they like them. :)

Still more to do, but I've got a lot done.

Once Chris is up, we'll get some breakfast. Saturdays are always a toss up as to what to eat. But at least, there are plenty of ice cold Pepsis in the ice chest.

Good morning and thanks Stu for the coffee. 73 and the same skies as yesterday.

I get to go to Home Depot this morning and pick up an early birthday present. My wife clogged the kitchen sink last night and it's past the trap.
I've always wanted a power auger for my birthday, just like she's always wanted a new vacuum for hers.
I hope they don't sell me a used return.

@Sadlsor I would rather be working on your darn Deere!

Thanks for the start, Stu. I'd already been up for an hour by the time the thread started, but was busy.

They were:
  • Feed cat
  • Brew coffee
  • While coffee is brewing, throw kibbles for cat to chase
  • Drink coffee
  • Wash the sheets before Mrs. Fun returned home
  • While the washing was happening,
    • Make the pasta salad for the uke potluck picnic
    • Tidy up (put things away, empty sink, clean off countertops and stove top, etc.)
    • Vacuum the house (upper level only)
  • Take sheets out of dryer and make bed
  • Practice some uke tunes
  • Eat breakfast
  • Practice more tunes
  • Get dressed in yardwork clothes
  • Fog the back yard against mosquitoes
  • Trim bushes along walkway to back yard
  • Trim bushes in front of house
  • Collect, pick up and bag all trimmings
  • Go to grocery store for last-minute items (ice, drinks, lighters to light mosquito coils)
  • Shower and change into party clothes
  • Carry necessary items into back yard
  • Conduct picnic
  • Clean up after picnic

    and, finally....


  • Relax
It's cloudy and humid and 78°F in Rockville, with the chance of rain now pushed bac from the original 1600 hours to around midnight. It was overcast for the picnic but that actually worked out by helping keep the backyard terrace cooler.

Mrs. Fun is home. As far as I know, I'm not in trouble. But that can change in a flash.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.
