Running on caffeine and willpower... :coffee:

G'Day...

14°/24°C, 56% RH, mostly sunny, a few scattered clouds... 🌤️
so refreshing temps for riding to work in a mesh jacket... ;)

home Nespresso, in peace and quiet... ☕

office sipping Nescafé while performing the 'search for updates' ordeal on that Win11 machine... ☕
since I hate the [YOUR COMPUTER NEEDS TO BE RESTARTED] popping up right while working, I make a preventive manual search in the morning...
CMD -> winget upgrade... SETTINGS -> Windows Update...

ze GF is actually camping on the terrace with ze grandkid... 😁

IMG_20260721_091614_253.jpg

an adventure for the kiddo, whilst appreciating the cool night temps...
(and gives an opportunity to be on the lookout for Igor the bat hunting bugs during dawn 🦇 🌃 ;))
During the day the kiddo is in a "swimming camp"... 8 is actually a tad late to learn how to swim, hence essential lessons... 🤔

Will drop by the bike shed after work, some O-rings have arrived so I can finish the ST carbs sitting on the bench...
Maybe I even install and sync them afterwards... 🤔
(right now the '00 is running with the carbs from the '94, which again has CN spec ones, while the '00 set sits on the bench... its complicated... ;))

any now: work... yuck... 🤮
have a good one...

Morning all, and thanks for getting us STarted, Martin.

Glad to see ze GF has only a single tent. Add another and the situation would be too tense.

11C & mostly cloudy, headed to 24.

The commute into work was fine, until it was tense. On an overpass that makes a sweeping 45* turn, doing 100+kph and suddenly here's this guy, with his cell phone in front of him, flashlight on, recording?, walking in the outside shoulder (see green line in below photo.) As there's a concrete divider between opposing traffic, he's walking in about a 4' space, and you can't see him until your upon him, blocked by cages ahead of you. Death wish, dumb, or both? You decide.

Remember, rough and tumble is supposed to be for sandpaper and damp clothes respectively, not stupid pedestrians.

Enjoy your day.

Obo.

Good morning and thanks for the coffee , Martin.

61 and cloudy in MA this morning, heading to 73 with thunderstorms predicted for this afternoon.

Yesterday's track day went well, despite low attendance. One driver brought his F1 car, ran two sighting laps, then ran into some electrical problems and never returned. We spoke with him at lunch, and he was upbeat and took it we'll.
Brenda and I went out for an early dinner, afterward.
I also went for a walk, after my after dinner nap.

Today, I haven't got any plans. Gym is on the list, though.
Brenda is bowling, so leftovers are for dinner.

Enjoy your day,
Steve

Herman's Hermits Tuesday... second verse, same as the first.
Lovely, hot, sweltering summer day. Haven't checked rain chances yet... I'll do it before I leave. And radio just said popup showers this evening.
The question remains... it's this the evening AFTER I leave the office, or the evening as I get ready to ride home?
I'll figure it out, and I'll deal with it.
Meanwhile, the first cup of coffee is tasting delicious. I was going to say it tasted sweet, but I didn't want to give anyone the wrong idea. No sugar, no sweeteners.
Black and bitter, just like me.
Perfect.
(The coffee, not me.)
The Harley rider from one street behind me just rode by and waved. Haven't met him, but I hear him crank it up every weekday right about 6am.
Stock pipes, and he's not riding and revving it like an arse. It's cool. Not loud, like so many.
He sees my bike in the driveway as he goes by, poised and ready to whisk me to the office.
I'm slow to start this morning, pounded the Snooze button for about 40 minutes. It was a good sleep, but rarely long enough to suit me.
What's next in my day?
The second cup -- of course.
Thanks for kicking it off, Martin.
Let's do Tuesday.
We got this.

G'mornin' from the office! It was a frustrating commute this morning as it seemed that suddenly EVERYONE just had to obey the speed limits in EVERY lane. That and the wet roads after an early morning shower made me thankful I did not ride in. I would've been soaked by the road spray as well as caught in afternoon storms. At least I had coffee to keep me from leaving behind a long, bl**dy path of destruction. Thanks, Martin! 78F/26C and cloudy if anyone cares.

As noted, this afternoon will bring some severe storms. Not much going to happen outside, I think not. Got some carpet cleaning done last night, and probably more to follow tonight to do a deep clean up behind Princess #1. I miss her but she was very sneaky despite her ailing body. Gross.

Eh, not much else to share I guess. So, take care y'all!

Morning all! It's a sunny morning with some high cloud and traces of smoke from the wildfires. Currently 20C with 27C as a predicted high.

Painting the house is slowly lurching along. I've decided to just prime the entire thing as opposed to spot priming. I'm not so sure about the quality of the last job done and the siding is 70+ years old cedar. It's just soaking up the primer so it takes a while to get each section done but once it's done, the paint goes on like buttah.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Late morning Martin & All from mostly cloudy skies over Southern Utah!

Currently it is 75F, heading for 86F. Yesterday, according to my on the shed Weather Station, we got up to 102F. And last night we got a good down pour of .2", with thunder and lightning around 2 or 3 AM. More possible later. The winds are still right now, but later, they will be coming from the ENE @ 7 to 8mph.

While I was busy in the garage, still trying to clean it up, I got interrupted by Chris, our granddaughter was wanting to to go to the local Orientale restaurant, so I had to put things away and get cleaned up, and that was pretty much the day. Today, we are waiting for the fridge repair guy, he should be here between 1 to 3. So, in the meantime, while Grandma keeps the granddaughter entertained, I'll take care of the laundry.

We have had, one of those big white igloo cooler for years, but have hardly used it. Well, with the main fridge down, we put the Pepsi, water and other drinks in it and took three gallon water bottles and filled & froze them. Putting them in with three ziplock bags of ice, has kept the temp right around 40F, which is perfect! I just swap them around every morning to keep things cold! :)

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast and OJ for the morning start. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Happy Tuesday, okay Good Morning. Mostly Sunny 23 C with a high of 30 finally Summer Temps 68 % humidity yeah it's a damp heat. Only blessing of the cancer I have been fighting, is I'm liking the heat. 30 C is comfortable. Yesterday was a busy day, took Precious to the New Vet which went well, Little girl didn't shake like she gid at the previous Vet. Found out Precious is fainting when over excited, challenges for a 15 year old pup. We also got her nails trimmed. But most important I could understand stand the Vet. Then We did some grocery getting. After dinner went over to Zoltans to install the battery he got warranty on,so the Silverwing I sold him would Start again. Then We went for a ride, stopped at Damon's ( previous owner of the two Bikes we are riding) caught up on life, and then continued on our ride. Put the battery I had loaned Zoltan on the Charger as the Silverwing is draining the battery's. So today's agenda is install battery in the CX and put gas in it and Start it and get it ready to Sell. Okay Y'all have a great day G
