Delkevic Exhaust not lining up right, any help?

Thanks All,

I think one is bent incorrectly too. I kept that to myself and let Luke make the diagnosis. New connector is supposed to ship today.

I was careful about the backwards thing and 2 of the same pipes from the wisdom of others. The clamp is only on the outside because the can is ~4" out of place and I wanted to hold it loosely for photo. I'll post results when the new connector arrives.

Cross your fingers for me. I'm going on my 8th annual family MC tour to the mountains at the end of the month. Hate to put the original pipes back on for that.

The correct right side link pipe arrived. Everything lined up properly albeit millimeters shifted to the right w/ Rt muffler. Only meticulous eye with a ruler will catch it. Just got back from a test ride and all is well.

Gentlemen, just remember to torque the very front two bolts (connection to the stock headers) to 22 Nm (16 ft lbs) per oem Honda service manual - on each side.

Good luck! :)

The replacement connector pipe arrived Friday, perfect timing as I was putting everything back together, just put new tires on! Got everything all back together about 3 minutes before the rain started! Figures.... quick run up the street and all is well.
Out for a little ride today, between raindrops, sounds incredible! Tried without the silencers, gonna put them in and give it a whirl next chance I get!

Got my new connector pipes last night. Everything fits fine.
Rode it ~25 miles to work this morning and the cans were cool enough to touch by the time I got my helmet off and the cover out of the saddle bag.

Started installing mine last weekend. The right and left header pipe are still mismarked. Right side is on. When I started on the left side, I found they had sent (1) incorrect strap. Bike has been sitting for a week waiting for the correct strap to come in. Delkevics quality control seems wanting.

If you mount the clamps on the outside, the angle of the pipes will be such that you can't reinstall the side cases. Don't bother asking how I know that. I really don't want to discuss it. ;)

If you could post some pictures of the clamps on the inside...I would appreciate it. Thanks

I have clamps on the outside , but the cans sit about right under the mount ! Seem like they would be to close to the swing arm if I tried to mount on the inside ! No problems with the bags at all the way I have them mounted. Have a pic in my album if want a look see ! May try and readjust or not !

Here you go. Ignore the dirt please, I just got home last night from a 3 day ride in a monsoon. :)

Thanks for the pics. They look like the tri-oval. They fit nice. Mine are the plain oval and seem to fit just right with the clamp on the outside. It took too much pressure to try and put the clamp on the inside. Appreciate the reply.

Ditto on my ovals, seem to line up the best bolted to the outside, again with no problems and look great !
