Doesn't start, in gear, clutch in..

I had the exact same issue. Replaced worn lever and bushing still wouldn't start in gear. Ended up being the tip of the switch itself was worn down and was not being pushed in far enough. Replace with a new switch. Work perfectly now.

And to complicate things ever further I am Canadian of British decent so I can through favour / favor, colour / color, tyre / tire plus a whole bunch of others into the mix. Then we have metric / sae. I'll go away now.

Even after replacing my clutch handle bushing around 80k mi the clutch switch not always "clicking" when pulled in. Figured it was wear on the switch plunger, so I glued an aluminum shim to the lever pad where it contacts the switch plunger. No probs since!

While your makeshift fix may work for a while, what it will cause is to keep wearing on the lever eyelet, until you start getting up and down slop in the lever, which will damage the perch that is the entire master cylinder housing, which is a few hundred dollars to replace.
Why not spend less than $20 dollars and repair the boot, plunger rod, and busing correctly before you damage something more costly?

Hey Guys I need some Help. I ordered parts: Clutch lever, Bushing, and Push Rod (22884-MB0-006). The push rod came without the rubber bushing in the middle, and the OEM one looks brittle, so I think it will crack/split if I try to remove it from the old to put on the new Push Rod. Any suggestions?
Thanks

There is no rubber bushing on the rod, what you are looking at is the torn off end of the old rubber boot.
Remove it, clean everything, install the new boot on the rod.
IMPORTANT, when putting the new boot on the rod, insert the round end in the boot from the outside (small end) push through until the boot turns inside out, this will allow it to snap into the groove correctly, then push the boot back into the correct position.
If you push the boot on incorrectly, (next to the groove and not in it) it will bunch up and your clutch will not work correctly.
