Drunk Riding on an ST1300

What's with the smoke???
Is that some James Bond anti-pursuit modification that I don't know about?😉

or was the dust coming up off of the road???

A cloud of it appeared around the cop car AFTER THE biker crashed.
I think the road was wet. Spray from the tires when they hit the wetter bits.

Possible redlining an already abused engine...
He deserves an extra 20 years for what he did to that poor bike.
Referring to that car tire? ;)

Yeah, I don't get DUI at all...
OTOH does it seem socially expected...
Even that PYT doc at my recent health check-up voiced massive doubts about my [not drinking any alcohol] checked on the patient data sheet... like I'd have to justify for that... :cautious:
(dang, running service calls all my life, climbing ladders, scaffolds, on rooftops, working with live voltage on the HVAC kits and then my motorcycle traveling...)

OTOH would liberal media over here actually blame those cops for chasing him into the crash... go figure...

Besides endangering quite a number of uninvolved road users, waste of a quite good motorcycle...

My Question is why the cop pull him over, 60 mph behind two cars. Unfortunately we don't get to see what happened before the video. Trying to lose a cop not a smart idea.

I'd say it's patches of light ground fog. I don't think it's from water on the road. The car's windshield never gets wet. Maybe it's just the of year... I'd see patches of fog on the way to Woodside and Alice's. Sometimes it would just disappear and sometimes it was heavy enough to wet the windscreen. Same with parts of the Sunday Morning Ride.

My Question is why the cop pull him over, 60 mph behind two cars.
Probably for the "care free" attitude of his riding. No reason to suspect otherwise at this point. Light him up and the chase is on. I don't get the "60mph behind two cars" part.
