Test pump return volume with measuring cup and stopwatch.my 2006 st 1300 would ping bad at hard excell hooked up fuel pressure gauge and road in same condition.pressure was good.Then did the volume test Was 40 percent below min spec! Replaced pump Only (cleaned up strainers)from $9.00 eBay Civic pump kit.Retested pressure@volume Now 40 percent Above min spec! Bike does not ping anymore unless I put less than premium gas in it. I ran a trigger switch from battery to pump connector watched clock 15 sec Service manual has info. Can test in 5 minutes and Know how restricted filter is @pump health

Got a link to the Ebay pump? I just bought a spare myself and was wondering if it's the same pump?
I did this test replace several yrs ago Pump kit was for like a 1995 Honda Civic went for almost lowest cost one.Have about 35.000 mi on it works fine
