Federal Formaza FD2 CT

Has anyone looked at the Federal Formaza FD2, size 205/55-17? Will it fit on the ST1300 rim (how wide is the ST1300 rim)? Will it fit between the swingarm? The industry rule of thumb states that for every 1/2" change in rim width, the tire's section width will correspondingly change by approximately 2/10". So if the measured rim is 6.5", the tire will be reduced to about 8" wide (because it is going on a narrower rim, the sidewall is pulled in therefore shrinking the width). Any opinions on this CT?

Why not use the Hankook that many of us are happy with?

The Hankook is close. I have not seen this on an ST. I know some have tried other brands and had success but some have not even thou they were the same size.

Give it a try and see if it will work on the ST. There is only one way to find out if it will work or not. Good luck.
