CRC electric contact cleaner - put a rag under the switch as it will drip.

I have used very cheap hairspray for grips - the cheaper the better!
You actually should open up that turn signal switch and spray/clean off old grease on the mechanical part, then a little spray grease.... contact cleaner on the electrical parts.

You can usually find the CRC cleaner at most chain auto parts stores or order it from Amazon.

I use the WD-40 contact cleaner also. Plastic safe it works well. A good spray will make the switch work like new in a pinch. But the pod should be opened and the innards cleaned. Then a light lube with grease and your good for a long while.
As for grips the local CVS had a travel size of Aqua Net Extra Super Grippy hold for a couple $$ and it worked really well.

Just surpassed 50k on my '05. Recently the turn signals have become finicky. I noticed it last fall a bit, but assumed it was user error due to thick gloves/mittens. The issue continues. When I push the indicator switch it is hit or miss whether the indicators come on. Sometimes they are on...

Had sticky starter button switch (2006) and the kill switch was inop the other day. Had to toggle it twice to get it to start. Pulled them apart today and cleaned them up a bit. Snapped a few pics for reference for those who want to pull the assemblies apart for the first time they can have...
Mine was quite stiff & I took the lazy man's route with a small squirt of regular WD40... just enough to soften the crud.
