This explains the project and what I did to prepare the bike. That's a nice setup, it looks like you have spent some time thinking of it.
Would you mind posting a short list of things you went through to prepare the trip?
The smoke was really bad along the Escarpment, right now I see it hanging over Thunder Bay, but it’s tolerableHow is the smoke up there and your travel for tomorrow? Did you end up having someone join you or are you solo? Wishing you clear sailing.
We waved.Did you visit Terry Fox? When we were there the fog was so thick we couldn’t see the lake.
Doing reasonably well. Although I am experiencing a nasty oil leak. It appears that the countershaft oil seal has decided to no longer do what it was designed to do. On the plus side my chain has an automatic oiler.@kiltman you doing alright out there?
My pleasure, I'm sure not the only one following. Sounds like a great adventure already. One more hurdle and your on your way, its get easier in a day or two, I'm sure you have experienced this before. If you find time, pictures are always appreciated. Thanks for asking
Hope that your mechanical issues are now solved and can concentrate on enjoying the trip. The leak didn’t lube your tire too much?On the plus side my chain has an automatic oiler.
