Coffee is not just a treat.
It is a decent cup of “let’s not make this worse.”... :coffee:

ST it is, mesh jacket over a simple T-shirt, comfy... 😎
ditto ze GF commuting on her NT... :radleak:

Office Nescafé... almost finished <slurp!>... ☕

got 'advised' to do other folks workload/duties... like falsifying start-up protocols they're simply too lazy to write themself?!... nah! 😡

will spend the afternoon in the shed, rebuilding ST carbs... nice... 😎

go gently into this weekend 😎

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the start, Martin.

It's 73°F and cloudy in Rockville, with partly sunny skies and a high around 82 expected which should make for decent goof conditions. I'm playing today with our financial advisor; we'll talk just enough about that that he can pay and call it a business expense, charging it to the firm.

Mrs. Fun is due to return from PA today, so I've got a morning's worth of tidying up to see to thanks to my "relaxed" bachelor-style housekeeping while she's been away for a week and a half.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, all. Thanks for the start, Martin.

67/83 and mostly cloudy, but no rain in the forecast.

I’ve been busy this week and missed my daily cup for a few days. My MRI on Tuesday, wasn’t bad, but time consuming. But Teddy’s ear surgery on Wednesday has been extremely stressful, for both of us. He had a hematoma in his ear drained, which left a temporary drainage tube, inserted the length of his ear flap. The dang tube is almost the size of a drinking straw and 3” long. Then there’s the issue of the protective cone. It was sized to fit a small horse, and caused its own set of problems, until I cut it down to a reasonable size. Neither of us slept Wednesday night. I left the cone off last night and we finally got some sleep. Tube stays in til Monday. I swear, he’s as needy as a sick 4 year old child.

Good morning everyone, TGIF, and thank Martin for the cafe!
Here in Minneapolis, it's 49F will warm up to 72F and storms later on, and the weekend will be nicer, low 55F high 75F will be a great weekend for my project 58 Chevy truck.
Keith, picking up your stuff before she shows up, eh :roflmao-2x: Have a wonderful day and weekend to y'all

Due to my too-early start yesterday, I hit Snooze this morning for an extra half hour. First cup of coffee is nearly finished, so maybe I'm safe to try to post.
Wet, wet, and more wet.
Through most of next week, I'm told.
The humidity is just part of it, i can still sweat, so it doesn't bother me.
Roz' pain block from last week has had negligible egregious, but she was told it may take up to 10 days. She doesn't deal well with pain.
So I have to. 😀
Thanks for the intro coffee Martin, it's just usually too early for me. I mean, the only time I really don't drink coffee is when I'm asleep.
Any other time, it maintains my life balance.
And those around me, to a large degree.
I need to put my car battery on a charger, unless I've killed it already... haven't even started it since some time in December.
Well, I've blathered enough, need to get me started.
I'm off, like a herd of turtles.
Don't forget to smile some time today.
Even if you don't feel like it.
Because it makes people around you, wonder what you're up to.

Good morning and thank you for the morning start. 55 and cloudy this morning in Spearfish South Dakota going to 68 later in the day and just like @Mellow I will miss it here as I am heading down the road.

I did make it to the petting zoo yesterday.

Enjoy your day and be safe out there.

G'morning, all, and much obliged for the coffee. Please sir, may I have some more?

Rain. Lots and lots of rain. For a few days, now. And storm cells - pretty bad ones. We've had torrential downpours, crazy winds and some rotating systems come through. Lost power for just over an hour on Wednesday; affected the airport as well, which is pretty much next door to me. That must have been fun. The skies are dark and gloomy again today and the rain will start coming down again any time now. Still windy, too, with more "severe thunderstorm" warnings throughout the day. Looks like the unsettled weather is going to continue for a while, so we're looking at a soggy weekend. Temps have also cooled down - high of only 20°C/68°F today.

@Nashcat: Oh dear, that sounds like a royal pain for both you and Teddy, but I'm glad the vet(s) got the problem fixed. Hope he feels better and gets back to his old, smiling self soon. That goes for you, too.

Welp, gotta get back to building that ark. Everybody have a good one, stay safe, stay dry, and go safely.

Patty

Morning all! Sunny and clear blue skies at the moment. 16C right now, high of 26C later.

It was a gorgeous ride in this morning. I managed to leave in enough time to beat most of the traffic from the ferry that docks at 7:30. It helps to arrive at work in a good mood, dampened only by the inability to make a right turn to head up Island and play hooky all day.

I got home yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to find my Crave (streaming app) subscription entitled me to watch the World Cup so I was able to catch the last 15 minutes or so of the Canada v. Qatar match. Our team did us proud; 6-0 with Jonathan David notching a hat trick, something the announcers were saying hadn't happened since 1966. It was also Canada's first World Cup win ever. Positions us nicely to make it to the next round and if we can play Switzerland to at least a draw next week, means we have home field (Vancouver) advantage.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning, Happy TGIF. Thanks Martin. Me have had breakfast, time for Meds for Precious and me . Sunny 18 C/65 F high 25 C/ 76 F wind 10 mph from NW. One task to do for the Airport, install a new Filter for pump number Two, should take about a hour. Maybe after that will go for a ride, me body has recovered from my trip to the Daughter's in Edmonton. Which was 2305 kilometers coming home was the most miles I have ever done in a day 1156 km's . Well best get at it, Have a good day G

Morning Martin & All from mixed clouds & Sun, in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 82F and heading for 89F. I hope the clouds stick around, but it looks like they are starting to clear out, which will make it hotter than the predicted 89F! :cautious: We have a breeze now, but later the winds will be out of the SSW @ 20 to 37mph.

I didn't get a whole lot done yesterday, other than separating a bunch of bolts into my new organizer.

Today, I'm not sure, I need to get out to the sheds and move things around, but I'm not too sure about the heat. We'll see. You folks getting all of that rain, we wouldn't mind a bit if you were to send some our way!

Eggs, bacon ,toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) will be had, later!

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
