Good mørning, your coffee is ready!
Label is Kjeldsberg, it’s organic and it will make you :)!
Bolied eggs with pickled herring and mayo on top.

Yesterday afternoon we had a nice coastal walk.
My back was sore after the concrete work, so climbing over fences made me do some very old man sounds.
No farting though.

Today is opening of the riding season!
Going for a spin, and picking up some new ropes and wine while I’m at it.
Mrs Stu is going to her mothers 80 years celebration, I’m not invited. Point taken.

10˚c/50f, grey, quite calm.

Have a good one!
Stu

From yesterdays walk…if you zoom in, there’s a cruiseship in the distant.

G'Day...

-2°/3°C today, we saw a few snowflakes zis morning (meteorological ones!) here in ze woods...
GF rushed outside, wearing long underwear and riding boots, documenting the weather phenomenon with her phone... :roflmao:
Currently zipping my 2nd cup Nescafé mix, those stainless thermo mugs are brilliant...
Yesterday was mostly rain, not heavy, but consistent...
Planning today's trip, gonna raid a food store on the way for some bread...

The most outstanding here is the absence of noise...
Hence any oh so silent thing stands totally out...
Like the elektronic control for the heater panel, which buzz then blares like a car horn in the middle of the night...

Anyhow, enjoy the start into the weekend...

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Stu.

Mrs Stu is going to her mothers 80 years celebration, I’m not invited.

You win.

It's a wet 56°F in Rockville. We've had rain overnight and expect more this morning despite being in a lull at the moment. The high will be 57. Pretty weird for what's now nearing the middle third of May.

I'm fasting prior to a routine blood draw set for 0800. Once that's done I'll have breakfast (and put some cream in my coffee) then wait to see whether the day's planned goof outing has been canceled. It's not my reservation to manage and I've not yet heard from the fellow who made it. The course isn't yet open so there's been no determination and announcement from that quarter as to whether play will even be allowed today, either with or without power carts.

Whether or not goof happens for me today, I still have that writing assignment to tackle. I just couldn't begin yesterday. Maybe today.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Stu. 67F on the dog walk, can you believe it 67F at 0215 in the morning. had clear sky with stars and an almost full moon.
have gym this morning and I plan on taking my truck as I try to drive it 1 or 2 times a month to exercise it and keep the battery charged.
nothing on my to do list but once the wife is up that can change. our high should see 93F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Stu.

It's 51 at our hotel in Concord, NH this morning, with some showers happening. It'll become steady rain as the temperature drops to 50.
I went to the car to check on our ice chest, and came back to Don my fleece lined jeans and another shirt layer.

Yesterday went pretty well, with only one lopsided. Unfortunately, it was a ZRX, one of the older bikes here.

I'm sure we'll get more business, although we're here to only flag. Except for the 3/10 split, we're on-track.

Enjoy the day, and stay dry,
Steve

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Stu!

The weather gods proved the prognosticators wrong yesterday, and in a pleasant surprise, the sun did come out and stayed out for a while. Sadly, that will not likely be the case today, which promises to be cold, gloomy and wet. It is currently a brrr 6°C/43°F with an even brrr-er feels-like of 2°C/36°F, and we'll only see a high of 9°C/48°F. The rain will start falling soon and will fall until tomorrow, from what I can see. It's an indoor kinda day for sure.

OK, gotta get at it, I have at least one task I simply can't put off anymore. Procrastinate? Moi? I dunno, maybe. In the immortal words of Scarlett O'Hara, "I'll think about that tomorrow." Fiddle-dee-dee.
Everyone have a great day, stay safe, warm and dry and go safely.

Patty

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the coffee, Stu.

56 and overcast this morning. High of 73 and mostly cloudy for the afternoon. Yesterday’s thunderstorms missed me by about 5 miles and stayed mostly dry all day.

I changed the oil in the truck yesterday and took the opportunity to install a Fumoto oil drain, so no more dealing with a drain plug. I may have to put one on the SUV at the next oil change.

John

Good morning all!
Thanks for the hot start Stu!

I’m rolling along on my cribbing job.
I’m in need of more rock for the first crib, the second crib is about half assembled. (on shore)
When finished it will be maneuvered into place an filled with rock. (that hasn’t been delivered yet) Cedar stringers & decking lumber are ordered from a sawmill, they will probably be here in a week or two.

43/57 with a black fly free NNW breeze, we’re promised plenty of sunshine today, so I should have my cribbing job completed & waiting on rock to finish it.
Enjoy your Friday & your weekend!

I wonder what's happened to @Sadlsor ? Haven't seen him post in a week or more, though he's been on the site more recently than that.
Just loafing, probably.
Or, sort of. Maybe.
Or just rearranging my mornings to get out of the house earlier. It's working.
Or, sort of. Maybe.
But today it has backfired big time. I only have one copy of the office building key, and I remember now / too late that it's in the top box on the GSA, but of course with 70% rain chances, we took the car, so I'm without a key here. So I'm sitting alone (well, with Kaiser actually) in the parking lot waiting for someone to get here.
Dammit.
Lest I be remiss, let me thank Stu for the coffee, which i won't try to pronounce. Silly Americans... but i do wonder what Stu will do with that rope. Does he have the plastic bags and duct tape to go with it...?
Note to self: make another office key! I used to leave it in the car, but while I was riding for several days, I just left it in the top box.
Dammit.
So while I haven't been sharing ☕️ coffee with y'all (bought a new drip machine for $15, no-frills just On/Off button, and drinking solo), it seems the Vatican has a new Pope. Made in America, for a change. Congratulations are in order, I suppose, to all the Catholics here. As I'm not one, I confess (see what I did there?) I'm pretty ignorant as to the protocol.
I visited St. Peter's Square while in Rome long ago, and saw the Pope speak from the balcony, but couldn't understand a single word he said. My high school Latin failed me.
My biggest memory is thinking, "Gee there sure are a lot of pigeons living here."
Silly Americans.
Agghhhh.
No one's here yet to unlock the door.
Note to self...
Alright, y'all have a good day.
And don't forget your key when you leave the house.
Dammit.

Howdy from SoMD! It's a gloomy 63F/17C and the drive in to the office was awful for a Friday. Def wasn't riding in that. Thanks for the coffee, Stu. You helped me keep my murder-free Friday streak going! (I know, the day ain't over yet...)

Mostly recovered from yesterday's driving, I slept hard last night after being grumpy-tired during the audition. Fortunately the director knows me well and was pleased anyways. Even gave him a few ideas that he didn't think of that he can take credit for. So now my summer will be busy with two shows, but I get to be on stage with the missus for this one.

Today is just work in office, then maybe volleyball. I dunno...haven't thought it out that far. Want to continue clean up after the move out, but we'll see. Take care y'all!

Good Morning, Thanks Stu for Coffee, much needed this morning. Yesterday was a long tiring day up at 5:00 am to catch the 7 o'clock ferry to Vancouver Island, got back home at midnight. Morning all! It's overcast here, though the sun is giving it's best shot to burn through. Weather network says sunny & cloudy all day. 9C now, 17C later.

Have a blood and saliva draw for a study I am taking part in that is measuring the link between concussions/dementia and whether you can use a computer program to reduce the incidence of dementia by training or challenging the brain. It's pretty much done, this is just the follow up. Along with the draw there's also a cognitive assessment test (not sure why they keep telling me it's ok, there's no wrong answer while shaking their heads....) and a brain MRI to come in the next few weeks. You could say I'm part of the scientific method. Just call me Beaker...meep meep meeep

Stu, Keith beat me to it but I agree, that's a win. Congratulations!

Working from home again today. Nice to take a little bit extra time in the morning to futz around before chaining myself to the computer. The co-workers leave a bit to be desired however, all they do is snooze on the couch, wake up occasionally to stretch and yawn and then move to the sunbeam in the family room to continue the snooze. I would love to come back as dog in the next life as long as I got fed and walks.

Hope everyone has a great day and if you spill something, just muppet it up! (Jeez, I miss Obo.....)

I always figured it was much better to come back as a house cat that goes outdoors. You get a nice place to live where you are taken care of and well fed and absolutely no expectations are placed on you in return, you just do as you please all the time.

Morning Stu & All from another, sunny day in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 66F, up from 43F and heading for 79F. Ha, a teaser for Summer. This weather will only last until Tuesday, when it will drop by 20F.

Yesterday was a double win! I did a nice little 68 mile ride down to Kolob Canyon, ZION NP.

And then came home, took Chris to go get a hamburger, then I installed the radiator on the AZ05.

20250508_Rad2.jpg

I'll go get some coolant today and then fill her up! :)

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

But what if you wanna take one of your motorsickles out for a ride?
Where ya gonna find a helmet to fit?
And how ya gonna start the thing, with no thumbs?
Come back as a cat?
Naw.

The premise was coming back as a cat vs a dog, not a cat vs a human.
Besides, as far as I know dogs don't own motorcycles, don't have thumbs, and can't start motorcycles either so ......
