Good morning everyone

My mind hamsters woke me up but not at an obscenely early hour (some here may argue that 0440 still qualifies for that label, but we'll agree to disagree on that point) so there's fresh French roast coffee in the pot waiting for you.

It's 28°F and partly cloudy in Rockville, with a high of 37 expected under partly sunny skies.

This morning I'll go to UHaul to pick up a trailer, then to a friend's condo to collect their dining table, which we've agreed to buy as they are moving and want / need to downsize. After that mission is complete, my day's agenda will also be.

stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, all! Thanks for the coffee, Keith!

We got quite a good dump of snow over the last couple of days, but looks like we'll get a mix of sun and clouds today. But it's cold and windy: it's -10°C/14°F right now but feels like -21°C/-6°F, and it will only get a few degrees warmer today.

OK, gotta run, have to put in 4 hrs at the part-time gig today. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

The early bird gets the worm, and gets to make the coffee.

Thanks Keith!

-8/-17 here headed to -4/-10 later on. Cloudy all day. Pthhhhhht.

Speaking of pthhhhht, I've got a joke for you: A sheep, a drum and a snake fell off a cliff...

Ba-dum-tsssss.

Obo.

You are stardust that pays taxes and forgets passwords.
What an era to be alive... :coffee:

G'Day...

2°/5°C, overcast, quite some fog lingering...

home and office filled... ☕

late to the party as today "THE END IS NEAR!" interacts with "THE END OF THE WEEK IS HERE!"...
so external as well as internal clients are in panic mode... requiring EVERYTHING and that NOW... pfffff...

Anyhoo... all caught up, three projects worked out and then some...

GF is pretty banged up though...
Yesterday morning a physio (basically freeing joints and stretching ligaments and muscles)...
In the afternoon a massage... apparently a big ouch-time... bruised all around, crackle and pop, feeling muscles she didn't even know existed...
So she's a bits slower again... and put on a sweater with collar, hiding all the red and blue spots on neck and shoulders...
(otherwise someone might call the plod on me... you never know in these strange times... )

Hurray, the weekend is here!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Keith.

It's sunny and 20, rising to 31.

We did a bit of Christmas shopping, yesterday , and we'll finish at the mall that sparked Brenda's trip to the hospital last week. Hopefully, this trip will go better.
We'll also wrap op everything that we need to ship out.

Enjoy your day ,
Steve

Good morning. Thanks for the coffee, Keith.

It’s 38 now, but going to a sunny 58 this afternoon. Woo-Hoo….short britches and iced tea weather. But…there’s always a but…Mondays high is mid 20’s with low in mid teens. My outdoor thermometer is getting whiplash.

Getting my truck back today, after the hail damage repairs. I didn’t realize it was so bad until the tech pulled out his LED light panel that reflects every flaw. I thought I had 1 dent in the driver’s door, when I actually had 7. There were over 25 dents in just the hood, so I guess it justifies the $4100 repair bill. So much for Ford’s aluminum body being tough.

John

Thx Keith!!

10˚c/50f( that’s 20˚c warmer than in Canada, I did the math for you), a bit of rain, 20mph wind from south.

Shopping, cleaning house.
Pizza and wine later.

Merry weekend!
Stu

A friend of a friend took this picture in a national park over here. It’s vast and empty. In the middle of nowhere this guy came by riding a monowheel. Who he was, where he was going or where he came from, is still unknown to the photographer.
He’s looking very confident I think.

Good Morning, thanks Keith for coffee, Cloudy and damp,44 F high 49. Humidity 93% phone says no four letter word that starts with a R. Might take Lady for a test ride, hopefully resetting the front wheel and forks will get rid of the drift to the right. Done the usual morning stuff, so may go back to bed for a while, have a good day, G

G'mornin' from SoMD! Tis a brisk 33F/1C here. Thanks for the FR, Keith!

I'll pass on the worm coffee, TYVM. I like mine earthy, but that's overboard.

As the Prince of Purrrsia told me this morning as he was stepping on my larynx, "PURRRRRRRR". Translation: "Feed me you worthless, lazy fop!" So, I fed them all. Then I realized I wasn't supposed to feed Princess #2 as she was supposed to go to the vet later this morning. See, she had some lumps analyzed a few weeks ago and a couple came back cancerous. Last Monday, she had them removed and was stitched up. I, intending to get a cone of shame on her, could not find the one we had (shocker, given our basement's state) and kept forgetting to buy until Wednesday night, and continued forgetting to put it on her until yesterday morning when I saw she had opened one of them by licking. So, today she goes back to see if it needs redoing, and if so needed to not have eaten so she could be anesthetized(sp?). At least my wife was just as scatterbrained at the expense of #2. Speaking of expense, let's hope it isn't a big one as a result of our atom-bomb-level brain farts.

In other news, an unexpected WFH day as my network connection at my desk is still kaput. Work ticket pending... Another casino event tonight, after one last night, and have another tomorrow night...tis the season. Weather will continue to be gloomy with threats of maybe snow Sat night into Sunday. Wife has a holiday party at her barn and she wants my rum cake. I'm pretty busy and in need of rum (not just for that) but we'll see.... Take care y'all!

Morning all! Grey and wet here. 7C now with a predicted high of 10C.

Moving slowly this morning; our older dog (17!) has been having GI issues so I spent most of last night taking her out to the run every 1.5-2 hours. I didn't get much sleep and spent a good chunk of time cleaning floors as a result of not moving fast enough when she got up and started pacing. In my defense, it's tough to spot a small black dog in a pitch dark room. I expect we may be finally getting towards the end of things for her but will leave that decision until after the holidays. There is definitely a nap in my future....

Apparently, Taylor Swift (aka Tay Tay, T-Swizzle) has a concert documentary out and even more fun is the fact that the Household CEO is holding a watch party with her sister and niece tonight! At our house! The joy....the rapture....just cannot be contained....

Stu, that picture is hilarious. Talk about juxtapositions.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Keith & All from another terrible ( ) sunny day in Southern Utah!

Currently @ 11 AM, it is 50F, up from 23F and heading for 57F. No breeze at this time, but later the winds will be out of the NNW @ 5 to 6mph. It looks like this weather will go right into next week as well.

So yesterday, I was feeling "off", so I never was able to go for a ride. Today, it's Friday and I try to stay off the roads around here on Fridays. Well, with this weather pattern going into next week, I'll go for a ride or two, then.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & a Pepsi, to start the morning.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
