Good morrow!
Coffee ready.
Coffee good, brand Kjeldsberg.
Brown bread with mackerel in tomatosauce.

5˚c/41f, rain, 15mph wind.

Cooking, Picking up Peter.
A beer late tonight, waiting for our son to arrive from Oslo, a 8 hour drive on snowy mountain roads, an Easter adventure.

Enjoy your Friday!

Thanks for the coffee Stu, and enjoy the boy.
It's early, but as I went to bed early, this will work out.
We had the 70ft y'all dead tree taken down yesterday while I was at work, and the out- of- control crazy gardenia bush monstrosity in the front... now there's open sky in the back yard, and an open vacant spot in front.
I'll miss the smell when June rolls around (hey - it will happen!), but it should grow back.
Other than this, I'll see what I don't do this weekend.
I'm sure there will be a lot that I don't do.

Morning all, and thanks Stu, for the coffee. Reminds me of Carlsberg beer.

Weather wise it's +1 here with wet melting snow. It's supposed to stop later and it become sunny, as it makes it way down to -11. Dora asks "Can you say icy?"

Other than that, I've no issues with my front bush or dead wood. Life is good I guess. If you do experience issues with dead wood or bush problems, perhaps seek out a horticulturist.

And on that note, have a great day everyone.

Obo.

That first sip of coffee is better than at least 60% of your daily interactions.
Be honest.... :coffee:

G'Day...

2°/6°C, overcast, rain, quite windy too...

seems I need to up home and office caffeine doses... ☕

Funny how you can be doing your job just perfectly fine,
but somehow still end up responsible for things that were never yours to begin with...

I'd carefully designed a VRF system for an office complex...
studiedly the construction plans, entered every room dimensions, checked that it won't exceed max permitted refrigerant concentrations in case of leakage, etc...
All perfectly within permissible limit, no countermeasures required, thus no extra costs, good...

So you'd think...

Someone ran amok, installed a completely different outdoor unit, plus managed to charge insane 21kg/46lbs of refrigerant (my system had 11,5kg/25lbs),
but did not care to communicate nor document this anywhere here at the office...
Soooo...
Yesterday a city inspector for facility's permits showed up at that site, of course spotting the nice "21kg" marker graffiti above imbecile left on the outdoor unit,
compared that with the conditioned office spaces, and: issued a complaint note...

And now guess who's phone rang, with our boss-man screaming through the line... pfffff... :cautious:

I ran an internal investigation, turned out that actually the boss-man was the one with the splendid idea of installing the other outdoor unit model...
topped by our "service manager" charging astronomical amounts of refrigerant for whatever reasons, without considering the max permitted room density at all during the startup...
and without a care in the world he even scribbles the numbers on the nameplate of the outdoor unit...

unfortunate coincidence or planned intrigue... verdict pending... 🤔

But: TGIF... 😎

Grocery run, laundry, some TV, picking up the re-painted fairing parts for ze GF's NT700VA, possible some time at the bike shed...

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Stu. I'll pass on fish, though, but thanks all the same.

It's 63°F and wet in Rockville, where rain and the temperature will each fall pretty much all day. We'll finish with the rain around 1900 hours, and the temperature will bottom out around 0800 tomorrow morning at a nippy 33. Brrrrr.

I've nothing on my calendar for today, which is fine by me.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee, Stu.
Looks like you'll have a full house in a bit.

It's 46 and cloudy in MA this morning, rising to 51 and becoming partly cloudy before dropping into the mid-30s.

Yesterday was spent at the gym, some shopping, and at our local Chinese place.

Today, I'll head to the gym, again, and try for a walk with the neighbor's dog

Have a great day,
Steve

Good morning, all. Thanks for the coffee, Stu.

Currently 62, but should reach 71, with slight chance of a shower around noon. Then we begin the roller coaster, down to 33 for tonight.

I love getting old. I can’t remember what I was supposed to do yesterday, much less remembering if I did it, or not.

John

Morning Stu & All from a still dark skies over Southern Utah!

Currently it is 34F, and heading for 76F. No breeze yet, but later the winds will be out of the NW @ 9 to 13mph. There is talk from the Weather Guessers that we might get a touch of Spring. They are saying we might get some rain next Wednesday. We'll See! :well1:

And since Chris and I will be in SoCal, we won't be here to see it anyway!

I've made progress for the Greenhouse. I have two more piers to go, before I can build up the dirt under it. I hope to get to those done and start dumping the dirt into the foundation.

I'm up way earlier than normal, so it will be a while before Chris gets up. And we'll have breakfast then. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good morning all!
Thanks for the caffeination Stu!
I will pass on the fish though!
I’ve always enjoyed my breakfast, but just can’t enjoy having any fish with it!

I stopped at the funeral home last Wednesday and brought Miss Judy’s ashes home with me. She loved her cottage home, I felt that she should be here, rather than sitting in some storage room until we have her celebration of her life next month.

Currently a sunny 18F / -8C.
Remember what Keith says! It is so important, when stuff happens it’s too late!
Enjoy your day!

Good Morning, Thanks Stu , your Meme about Peeing, reminds of Jack Nicholson's advice never trust a fart. Survived the dentist visit, clean teeth, two issues to get fixed. Doctor visit was quick, still on Anti-Cancer Meds, but will be monitored closely as Liver function is getting sensitive to the drugs. Still alive so all is good. Enjoy the weekend G

G'mornin' from SoMD! It was a mugggggy 63F/17C when I left the house. Commute was decent thanks to it being Friday. Quick shot o' Java and a half bagel to go, hold the mackerel! Thanks Stu!

@ST1100Y no good deed goes unpunished. It is perplexing why you are even employed when nobody heeds your work and wisdom...not that you should be let go. You're the only one with any scruples in that place. Maybe and apparently you should be in charge of installation, too?

While I am okay with the new office arrangements, I've come to the understanding that headphones are a new necessity. The office chatty-patties are now RIGHTNEXTTOME instead of far down the row...of whom my boss is one of them. *sigh*

And Princess #1 is not eating her hard kibble even after a teeth cleaning. So, it's another trip to the vet for her I guess. Chachinggg.

Ehhh, not much else. Weathers gonna suck again today as the rain and cold sweeps through. Take care y'all!

Just before Chris got up, I discovered the heater isn't working! :censored::censored::censored::censored:

I went up to take a look, but don't see anything, so I had to call a local HVac guy. His FIL lives across the street for us, so I've met him in the past.

Hopefully, it's nothing too serious! :think1:

So the HVac guy came by. The sensor for the flame had carboned over. He cleaned it and made a couple of adjustments. The heater is working again! :hat3:
