Howdy all! Where's Waldo today? (Have to keep you on your toes!)

French roast is in the pot. Waldo, there, 'tis not!

It's a beautiful sunny, cloud free day out there, and was a great ride into work, other than the cold. Frosty and 2C. Brrrr. Put the liner back in my jacket this morning, and turned the heated grips on. That, with the windshield all the way up, was sufficient. We'll see 16 for the high later on.

Other than that, it's Friday for us workin' folk, so there's that.

Hope all of you have some fun planned today, or over the next few days.

Take care, enjoy, and I'll TTYL (type to ya later)

Obo.

Good morning. Thanks for the French Roast, Obo. Just what I needed for a cool drizzly morning.

67/74, with all day drizzle, showers, sprinkles, and maybe a downpour at times. Can’t complain. We need the rain.

So, it looks like indoor chores today.

John

Thanks for the coffee Obo, I'm not sure which I need more this morning, the power boost or the warmth! .... maybe both!!

A brisk 41F here in coastal Maine this morning and heading to maybe 66F under sunny skies.

I am still at my brother's house, brother sitting after his chemo treatment. He is recovering well but has limited stamina, can nap at the drop of a hat and requires a snack every couple of hours to keep the nausea down.
We have doing a bunch of tasks around the house, replacing the dishwasher, replacing dead smoke detectors, temporarily fixing a leaky shower and beginning the replacement of all outlets and switches with new ones.

Be safe, be careful and do your best.

Scott

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, @Obo. Good start today.

It's cloudy and 55°F at the moment in Rockville, where we appear to be in between fits of showers and rain. We had rain overnight and expect more over the next 48-72 hours as the giant blob of ick moves away from @Naschat and toward me.

That gap between the two blobs of rain is a "sucker hole": a break in the weather that tempts the foolish into leaving their warm, dry habitats and unwisely committing to outdoor, shelter-free activities. Who's up for a round of golf? Me! Me! Meeee!!!!!!

Stay safe and well (and warm and dry) everyone, and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

On my first cup of coffee, I read the opening paragraph with pot+roast.
So obviously, I can't be held responsible for anything that may appear under my name.
We have weather like John, only wetter. Likely through the weekend, too.
Read a piece last night -- speaking of b,d,q,p -- that folks who WRITE rather than type, learn better. Had to do with firing more brain synapses, more by far, than typing does. Wasn't even close.
Then again I learn a lot QUICKER by hanging around here in the digital freeway, than by writing letters to everyone.
Not to mention, I couldn't afford the stamps these days.
Fascinating article, and it made the point quite well. Scientific studies, tests, and everything... the whole package.
Trust the science, you know?
Well, maybe that just invalidated what I said.
Anyway, as more public schools don't even teach cursive today, and we see the general intelligence of people wandering around the USA -- some of whom even drive cars! -- I'm inclined to believe the study.
Confirmation bias?
You decide.
I'm going to meet some guys for breakfast. Maybe a hubcap.
Coffee for sure.
Let's have a weekend, shall we?

Good morning and thanks for the coffee start, Obo.

It's sunny and 51, rising to 66, later.

I had a cold day , yesterday, with a similar forecast, so I'm wearing warmer gear to today's track day.
This is a 3 day Porsche event, and I'll be there today and Sunday.

Have a great day,
Steve

Thx Oqo!

13˚c/55f, 15mph breeze from south, showers.

Yesterday I was with Peter on his first (pre)school day.
I was honoured to be trusted.

Today is cleaning house, saving a apple tree, buying shrimp and vino, replace some old fuel in the boat.
And THEN the weekend starts…

Have a good one!
Stu

After school schooling…

Any coffee left? Two loads of laundry done and dishwasher unloaded. I’m off to a good start and holding the lead, but Afternoon Nap is closing on the outside and will probably pull ahead on the backstretch.

Not to mention, I couldn't afford the stamps these days.

I bought a roll of 200 “Forever” stamps at $.42, several years ago. I only use a couple a year, and the net worth is growing faster than my 401K.

Now where did I put the vacuum cleaner? I hope this urge to clean doesn’t last too long.

John

Well, I'm back home.

The corner Marshall coordinator forgot about my email about me working, so I had no corner assignment. No big deal, since I'm only 20 minutes from the track. Before I left, I verified that Sunday is okay.

So my day just got a bit better!

We'll probably head to Home Depot for a few things, and a late lunch at our local Chinese restaurant .

Steve

Good Morning, Not sure about that writing verses typing has anything to do with how well someone learns. Every
report card in English class said hand writing needs improvement, so I took typing in grade 9 , yeah figured would need to be able to communicate. Funny thing about life, why are People who are bad at English, making way more money than the English teachers. Personally I would rather be Stupid and Rich than Smart and Broke. So Today's Weather Mostly Sunny 54 F with a high of 72 F , parts of my lawn are going a beautiful shade of Brown,( not needing mowing) Summer has come early this year.
Today's agenda, make a few phone calls, one would be to Western Oil Services, going to get them to ship the Gas filters to me, at 500 + dollars a piece ×2 , blank if I'm going to use my car (gas) and pick them up.
Well thanks Obo for Coffee and Y'all for the enlightened knowledge, have a good one, G

Good morning all!
Thanks for today’s start,Obo!
I’m almost on the road, as soon as the last few things are loaded, we’re headed north, then east! Probably a couple of days on the road. It’s a bad weekend to take this drive!!!
But, it’s what we have!

Scott, take care of you & your brother!
I enjoyed the visit we had!
Enjoy your day!
WB

G'mornin' from the office! Quick pdq howdy and thanks to Obo for the java. It was a drizzly/spitty drive in today as Keith reported, and expected to continue all day and into the night. At least we are getting rain, finally. Still we'll below average but we'll take what we can get.

Headed out to the gym for some volleyball, then eat my lunch. Then more work. Then go home to find out what the Woman In-charge of Fun Events has planned. Take care y'all!

Good morning and thank you for the morning start. 63 right now in Lovelock Nevada heading to 83 later but I won't be here to see that.

48 where I camped last night. I am heading to Uncle Larry's place in Nampa Idaho.

Here is a picture of my camp spot last night.

Enjoy your day and be safe out there.

Morning Obo & All from mostly clouds over Southern Utah!

Currently it is 62F, up from 47F and heading for 71F. There *might* be some rain clouds around, but I doubt if we'll see anything on the ground. Most of the time, the storms fall apart, just before getting here. No breeze yet, but later the winds will be out of the WNW @ 9 to 12mph.

Hey Mike, tell Larry, "Hi" for me!

I made a run to Home Depot earlier than I thought I would, and I picked up 10 bags of mulch. After getting home, I added some more dirt to the upper planter, and spread it out. I'll lay down the landscaping cloth, and hold it down with blocks, before adding the tree and the mulch. I also need to install the drip system to that area, so the tree will get some water.

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ for the morning start. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
