Fuel pump question...

Having been stopped on the roadside more than once due to a fuel pump starting to fail, I always carry a spare.
They don't eat much and it's a lot better than having to be trailered somewhere and then trying to find a replacement.
Since a lot of you have goldwings or have had one in the past. How does the goldwing compare with the ST on similar issues. Does it have an achilles heel as well.

Is the Civic pump identical? What year Civic are you talking about? Thanks.

Found the box. It says Keshen Fuel Pump, model KS02B. Came with connectors, hoses, clamps. I swapped out my original figuring when I bought the bike I was changing the fuel filter and might as well swap out the pump while I was in there. Probably didn't need to, the filter was spotless too.

This is absolutely correct. Putting up a stock of parts is not a bad idea at all. When I rode Goldwings I had more parts on the shelf than many dealers and still do. Some of these parts work on the ST . I probably won't put a lot on the shelf basically because I myself probably won't be around to ever need them.

I changed mine at @ 35000 miles on my BMW . I wonder if not changing the filter has anything to do with the pumps going bad?
