Well, it looks like a glitch in the forum software erased everything regarding regarding these riding and photography games. But I have been taking notes about what I should be looking for for the next state of Georgia tag. And, for that matter in the states that surround me and our reasonable ride like South Carolina North Carolina Tennessee and Alabama.

AS OF THE OTHER DAY, the current "tag challenge" for Georgia was

THE WOODBRIDGE INN, of Jasper GA.
It was old, from June or July of 2025 so it is certainly available to be relocated without having to go there per rule #8.

Somebody go for it !

I couldn't find my picture of the Woodbridge Inn, but this is me sitting on the wooden bridge over the RR track, right next to the Inn, which gave that business it's name.

Am I the only member of this website who lives in Georgia and actively rides a sport touring bike?? No obviously not -- I've heard of several others. So, please join in. This game is no fun unless other people play. And right now because rule #8 applies, you don't even have to visit the last tagged location. You can just start us off fresh with a place of your choosing.

Old tag (Jay Bridge Road was an excellent little twisty country road to ride on. I wish it were much longer than it was.).

New tag:

Consolidated gold mine in Dahlonega.

The 1990’s Walmart shopping plaza was built over many of the main mineshafts from this 1900 to 1903 era gold mine.IMG_0564.jpeg

Since it’s been so long and nobody wanted to visit the gold mine in Dahlonega, I’m moving the tag closer to Atlanta.
To Marietta, Georgia specifically —
-- the Big Chicken, along US Hwy 41.
