I have a right side mount on my Shoei Neotec for a GoPro but I don't care for that mounting location. The wide-angle view of the GoPro takes in the front of the helmet which I find quite distracting on the video.

I have a mount on the windshield cowl for the GoPro, which works pretty good.

But I have the INNOVV K2 on my 2010. just let it go and only grab a recording when I want it.

Thanks so much for the suggestions. I'll try the side mount first as I want the cam to stay in place even when the chin bar is up. I'll take a few pics when I do and post.
