I'd like to put ether slip-on comfort grips or replace my grips. Can someone tell me the size of the grips for an ST? 7/8" or 1"? Only had the bike for 2 days. Still need to learn a thing or 2. Probably be asking you guys for help along the way. Thank You...

You'll note in most cases the 7/8" grips will have one with a larger inside diameter than the other to fit on the throttle tube.

Although you didn't ask for a recommendation you did mention comfort. The stock Honda grips are skinny and hard. I don't know if foam slip-on covers will be enough for you. They weren't for me. I have BMW "sport" grips with some grip covers and they're much much more comfortable than stock. I'd also put grip covers on any grip anyway as they add a bit more comfort and diameter. Small diameter grips hurt my hands after not too long on the road.

I agree. Had a set from my K1200LT. Tried them but they ripped while putting them on. Order a set of foam slip-ons. See how they fit.
I just took the ST for a couple of miles (2nd Ride) and hands down it out does the BMW I had. Had a GL1500 Goldwing before that and I think it rode better that that caddy. Really happy with this bike so far. I am amazed on how quick it is too.

I think you're going to really like your ST compared to that K1200LT.

I have BMW grips on my '06. They've been on so long, I don't remember what the part number is. They are a bit thicker than the skinny stock ones though.

If you want to just try the foam slip ons, go to a bicycle shop and get some foam slips for a mountain bicycle. They fit just fine and are less expensive than grip puppies.
