Well, it's just a highway pegs. They could make more money selling them for half the price. Marketing 101. That's why they're waiting for orders to build up.

Wish I could see a picture of the mcl's and pcr's next to each other.
This might be a long shot since this post is about a year old, but could you tell me what kind of clamp you used to clamp onto the crash bar? And if at all possible would you happen to have a link or remember where you got it at?
Sorry for being away from this thread. I have been in NC since July, and have not seen my 1300. Let me see if I can describe the differences between them.
Every other set I have seen clamp to both ends of the crash bars, meaning that they are locked into being horizontal, and the blades only open to 90 degrees.
Thus, your feet are as high as the crash bars, and no farther forward than the fronts of the bars. I can not reach the bars nor sit with my legs bent that much.
The PSR blades clamp onto only the fronts of the crash bars, which means that they can be mounted so they swing downward when they swing forward.
More importantly, the blades are much longer and J-shaped, and open much farther than 90 degrees, so your feet are well forward of the crash bars.
