Coffee...
because sarcasm needs to be hydrated...

Daleks, resistance is futile...

G'Day...

16°/27°C, glaring sun, darn hot I might add, warnings about "chances of local thunderstorms" for the afternoon...

Nespresso en mass, air-fried mini Bratwursts, scrambled eggs, baked beans, fresh home baked rye bread, bio butter from happy cows and fresh cut chives at your disposal...

Already covered with this years first bug-bites and soaking sweat from "a little gardening work" ;)

Replaced the solar shower... easy task...
Trimmed the lawn edges... also an easy task...
Then repair the lower fence tension wire... turned out to be broken at more then the one spot discovered initially...
So crawling around inside bushes, etc... to a) find the last intact piece of wire to attach, b) route the new wire, c) attach the tensioner on the corner post, d) put the repair clamp on and e) grapple the tensioner and rotate while its hidden deep inside a quince bush... pfffff... :cautious:
OK, 7 yards of new wire installed, GF still on her knees and elbows to attach that chain link fence back to it...
Yes of course was it the low, hard to reach wire there; you thought it would have been easy and the top one?! NAY!! ;)

So now I'm soaked and itching everywhere from darn mosquito bites, or such...

Thus: have a restful weekend

Good morning everyone

There's a pot of French roast on the warmer, waiting to be enjoyed.

[EDIT: Thanks for the start, Martin. You beat me to it today.]

It's 57°F and mostly cloudy in Rockville, where we did indeed receive evening and overnight rains- sometimes at near-deluge intensity. There's less chance of that today, as we expect partly sunny skies and a high of 69. The wind may get a bit frisky in the early evening, which is fine because it should help dry things out.

I ordered something from Amazon a couple days ago, and got a delivery confirmation but no actual product yesterday afternoon. When I checked the confirmation photo I realized it had been address and sent to my friends house, 30 miles from here. No idea why that shipment went to them where my several previous orders came to me without incident. I have sent them things a few times, delivered directly to them, but why Amazon chose to put their name and address on this item is quite beyond me. I'll have to pay more attention when placing future orders. The upside is that it gives me an excuse to get together with them for lunch today, so that the handover can take place.

Not much else to report. Despite the bank's assertion in their records that I am dead, it sure doesn't seem that way to me. When I showed up in person at the local branch the other day it wasn't terribly difficult to convince them that they were in error and needed to update their records. As Mark Twain once quipped: "Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated."

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

good morning all. thanks for the coffee guys. 75F on the dog walk with a sky full of clouds that covered the stars from view. weather guessers said there might be rain over the week end. might be something with the cloud cover. hope so, I can't remember the last time it rained.
wife's oldest sister went in to the hospital last night so we went up and picked up her dog to keep until she gets back home. her dog gets along with ours so it's easy to take care of the pack. looks like a trip to the dog park this morning and then we will see what's next. the high should see 93F. enjoy the day.

stay safe

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the twin cups, Martin and Keith.

At last….some sunshine! 58/78 and mostly sunny. That means the lawn will get mowed. Seems like I just mowed on Tuesday. Everyday showers tend to make it grow a little faster.

Cleaned up the garage and found this, hidden behind lawn equipment. Yep, the clean-up project flew right the window, or rather down-the-road in this case.

Good morning all!
Thank you Martin for the official start & spread!
Thank you Keith for a close second!

I’m going to try harder to get some of the last rock moved today! I’ve slacked off as I’m still waiting on lumber delivery!

43/54F with a cool NW breeze, it’s supposed to get cloudy today!
Enjoy your weekend!

Good morning and thanks for the coffee, Martin and Keith.

It's foggy and misting a bit in Thompson this morning. The temperature is 61, going to 63, with a chance of showers or thunderstorms later.

I'll be here for the USCRA motorcycle racing today and tomorrow. The turnout so far isn't great, but I'm sure that we'll have more arrivals.
This is the view from Turn 1 towards start-finish:

Enjoy your day,

Morning Martin & All from mixed clouds and Sun in Kalispell Montana!

Currently it is 60°, heading for 92°.

The trip has been interesting but I'll save you from the nitty gritty...

My Grand Daughter's graduation was last night, so the big event is over.

I started working on my son's 05 ST1300. Got the clutch flushed and flushed the brakes, but the rear brake still needs some work. I also replaced the switch on the right handlebar, and a few more things to do before putting it back together.

I'm hoping I won't need to leave my 2004 here. I'm hoping to take it home with me.

We'll be leaving on Wednesday.

Just woke up, no food or drink yet. But Pepsi(s) will be on the menu at some point.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good Morning, thanks for Coffee. Not really awake yet, sore neck from yesterday's ride, today's agenda look for a new Battery for Lady, had to charge it some to get it to start. Tried starting it after my ride and no luck. Voltage while running is 14.2 so Alternator seems okay. Seems like another battery from China that died to soon. Two and half years old, one in the Van is 12 + years old and still working. At least it died at home and not 100 miles from home. Might look at getting a small boaster pack for road trips. Any way not much else going on today, so might go and try for a nap. Ok weather raining and cold 57 F feels like 50 cause it's windy too. Y'all have a great weekend,G

Been fishing.
Left out the soundtrack...

Or is it a case like this? ;)

@Nashcat, you should evict him/her, those slackers don’t pay for their keep!

I think I’ll let him stay, making sure I never have mice eating the wiring on the bikes. He finally woke up and moved to a different cabinet, I guess. I’m glad my reflexes are kinda slow, or else I would have soiled my britches when I opened the cabinet this morning. Who knows where he’ll show up next…probably in somebody’s tent at my RTE next weekend.

Good evening,9:30 and again I'm in emergency, got a call today from my doctor, she worried about my Magnesium level being extremely low. So yeah last blood report reads 0.3 , should be 0.7 to 1.2 mmo/l. Lack of Magnesium can lead to a heart attack so she says. Figured better listen when they call you on a Saturday.
Did manage to get a new battery for "Lady" she now starts quickly again. Hopefully Mathew is correct about the CCA of 260 ,amp/hr rating is 12 last battery was 14 amp/hrs IIRC 230 CCA. Bike voltage is 14.2 at idle . Now the question do I use my battery tender all the time when parked. Well hospital has been interrupting my typing so will talk Sunday sometime . Good night Y'all,G
