how do I remove these??

Good morning everyone
I have a 2009 ST1300 police spec. on the rear rack are these two studs. They're in a blind hole in the rack. I can turn them with a wrench but they're not threaded in. Anybody know how I can remove them?

There is a size 12 nut on the other side.

You have to remove the rear saddle and you'll find the nuts up under the rear section.

Just don't drop them. It's not easy to get your nuts unstuck from under the rear saddle.
