When I got the bike it had been low sided. The primary damage was caused by the mirror. It smashed the upper fairing and bent the subframe. After straightening everything out I grafted a $40 BMW mirror assembly with an integral turn signal to get through inspection. A month or so later the wind caught my barn door while I was backing out the bike smashing the other freaking mirror!!!
My solution??? Shave off the factory mirror projections, add an aluminum plate and some fiberglass and smooth everything out and add Ram Ball mount mirrors and led light strips.
