I bought a 250l last summer. I will be looking to upgrade when I can find a 450l a couple years old with low Miles. Out here they want almost 10k for a new one. Please keep us posted on your riding fun.

£9500.00 is $16,600.00 CAD so Honda is really proud of this bike over there!
At the current exchange rate $10,399.00 USD is $13,951.82 CAD. Without reading through the details to see if apples are being compared to apples on both sites, and based on currency exchange alone, it seems that these are being marketed at a cheaper MSRP in Canada for some reason.

On another note though. HONDA UK have just reduced the price of the 2 CB 1100 models by £2000.00.
So actually the base model CB1100 is less expensive than this 450. That don't make sense.

I saw a video of a dyno run and it was 41hp. They say by getting rid of the restrictive exhaust, you can gain 4 more. After riding it a couple times, I think 41 will be adequate. And this bike is stealthy quiet.

Turns out the European model is restricted to the same max power as the 250L (18kW), the only advantage over the 250 would be an additional 10Nm of torque (32 vs 22Nm) and less weight (131 vs 146kg wet).
Not sure if that would justify about twice the cost though.

Sweet bike, and a definite step up from the XR400’s I’ve plated for street use, but the price reflects that as well. I’m supprised their new titanium tank is only 2 gallons though but I think ims makes a 3 gallon plastic replacement.
