I ordered the white led's across the pond from Lightenupgrade for the 1300.

This is very personal with the brightness. I have done this two times. First two years ago. I am very happy with the brightness on the tacho and speedo. I also have the White leds. If everything is too bright than you can adjust it with the button on the left side.

Yeah, I adjusted down the brightness on the button as far as it would go and for me, while it's not obnoxiously bright it's brighter than I could use. I needed the LCD backbiting better for the effort, so 96% happy is still high. Here's a wonky video of me removing the LEDs.

I wonder if one would only replace 50% of the original LEDs with the white ones? Maybe not so harsh? I'm going to go buy the kit at some point and might start there and see how I like it. It just stinks the level of PAIN dealing with the pointers if you want back in there to make changes 😞
