Funny,Blue is my favorite color, second candy apple red, what's weird I have mainly Red Vehicles, do like the metallic flake in Lady's paint.

I remember once when riding my ST1100, a guy on a Harley pulled up next to me at a stop light and gave the ST a visual going over for a few seconds. He finally commented "that bike looks dated". I replied, "oh man that's rich!" and started laughing out loud. The Harley guy looked confused.
Yeah most of us that have been fortunate enough to have owned this bike will drink the Kool-Aid often. Good to know there are plenty of people who think the same way. As for your friends what in the hell do they know. I agree that the bike ages rather well. I got my 2000 1100 and ain't planned on getting rid of it anytime soon.

Unfortunately the pretty blue one is laying as a pile of rubble on a pallet in the Holler. 
A picture of my 1993 ST1100.
But I still think it looks more distinguished with the Pan-European badge rather than the bland ST1100 insignia.
I may get booted off here for this, but the wineberry is my least favourite colour on the ST1100. I love the blue that they have across the pond.

There are two blues for the ST1100s across the pond.
B142P Pearl Atlantis Blue
B162M Metallic Blue
B142P is absolutely gorgeous as I have a ST1100 top box in that color!
And B162M is might pretty also with the gold trim.

This was one on my "for sale" pictures a few years ago. Had it 18 seasons and about 133,000 km.
