I think the ST1100 is a great looking bike in 2025

Why, thank you. Mine is the top left one with the PIAA lights. 2002, with a custom bagster tank bag, made by RKilts (aka Kiltman)

I really had no choice. When I arrived at WeSTOC in Bend, the front wheel had at least a 1/4” of side to side movement. They were toast and there was no way I was going to make it back to SoCal without replacing them.
All I could find was some cheap Chinese replacements and only one of the two seals needed. Went at it with a hammer and a long screwdriver from a nearby Home Depot.
The phone books we were using to prop up the front end turned to mush in the rain and we had source, IIRC, a piece of wood (log) to stuff under the sump.
 
I had a lot of people asking if mine was a Goldwing last weekend.
