IEMs/custom molded ear phones

Anyone here made or had a set of custom IEMs (In Ear Monitors) made? I have a pair of Westone B30s and a pack of Radians custom molded earplugs DIY kit. I tried to make a set about 9 months ago and it was an epic fail lol. Any advice before I try it again before OH-SToc. This is the YouTube video I was using for reference:

I'm also looking for a short cable rather than the 4 foot one that came with them as the Sena is mounted on the helmet, and a 18~24 inch cable would be plenty The monitors have a MMCX connector on them..

Well, to put a bow on this, I mixed up the putty as instructed, but I only used 1/2 the mix. I think this is where I got in trouble last time, I used it all and it was too much. Just opened up the holes for the sound to pass with a rotary tool.
