Hello fellow ST-riders, I have had my ST1300 for 18 years here in Oslo, Norway.
For the first time I have got some trouble. After a tour around in Europe, and on my way back home again, I noticed the the speedometer was down and resting on zero.
I quickly noticed that the trip- and odomoter also had stoppet. The same with the Fuel consumption meter, completely gone.
The PGM-FI malfunction indikator lamp also came on after a while, and it remains on during the ride.
When I started next time it seemed to be OK (disappeared after a few seconds), but it came on again after about 5-10 minutes.
Now, when I take a ride and press the clutch lever to stop, the engine speed rises slow but steady up to 3000-4000 and I have to turn of ignition in order to prevent RPM to go further up.
The engine runs as usual—smoothly and evenly, without a single odd sound.
