I just installed one of these Ancel battery monitors on my bike. It is very tiny and connects to you phone via bluetooth. It will monitor your battery condition, temperature and state of charge as well do load tests when starting and also alternator tests. It is great if your bike sits during the winter. It also has settings for lithium batteries.

Interesting tech…my only concern would be if it acts as a parasitic drain on the battery while the bike is sitting for a bit.

My BMW came with one of these battery monitors: CTEK battery monitor

The dealership put these on all bikes that they sold. Easy to see when your battery is running low and an easy point to hook up a charger. I have since added these to lawn mowers, other bikes and heavy equipment that sits for weeks at a time. I did use a male end connected to the battery charger or my choice rather than purchase the CTEK model.

It does have a vehicle gps locator included with the monitor - you do not have to use it though for the monitor to operate.
