Good morning everyone

It's Star Wars Day Eve, so I've brewed French roast to share with everyone. Think of it as Galactic Rebel Alliance jump-start juice. Anyone else in here following the latest incarnation of Andor? Good stuff.

In Rockville we have 65 of them old-fashioned Fahrenheit thingies, and will collect 17 more for a total of 82 at the peak. The rain changes have slid to the right on the timeline, so mostly cloudy through the day with rain possible starting around 1900 hours.

After my routine doctor visit yesterday I was able to take advantage of an open tee time at one of the nearby goof courses, and thoroughly enjoyed a round with two players I'd not previously met. They're old buddies but included me in their conversations, so it wasn't one of those "playing-alone-in-the-presence-of-others" sort of days. I'd happily join them again if the opportunity arose.

Two Zoom sessions are the day's agenda, remembering my brother. Other than that, not much going on.

stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

good morning all. thanks for the French Roast Keith. 62F on the dog walk with a bunch of stars out to enjoy a cloudless sky. not much on the to do list today. we will take old # 1 dog to the dog park this morning so she can go to each person and beg for treats. its her job at the park and everyone gives in to her.
might wash the wife's car and see if we can get a coat of wax on it. and then maybe not as the high should hit 88F. enjoy the day

stay safe

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee and chin-wag, Keith!

It's a grey, rainy morning, but the afternoon should bring a mix of sun and clouds. 10°C/50°F to 15°C/59°F is the number spread for today.

I attended the first event of my 50th high school reunion weekend yesterday evening - a cocktail reception at an art gallery in the historic part of the city, Old Montreal (it's sort of like the French Quarter in New Orleans). We had an excellent turnout and it was great to see everyone again - one of our math teachers even showed up! A bunch of us went to dinner afterwards and it was like we'd all seen each other a week ago. Sadly, the whole thing taxed my injured foot far too much, as I was standing for too long, so I'm dealing with swelling and oceans of pain this morning. :( One of our reunion events is always a tour of our old high school and that's today, but I'm going to have to give that a miss. There's also a walking tour of our old neighbourhood, past the houses many of us grew up in, but I can't possibly do that, either. The dinner-dance is tonight; I'm certainly looking forward to that, but I certainly won't be doing any dancing after the meal, but it'll be fun anyway. I'm told my prom date will be there, it'll be great to see him!

And on that note, I'll go take my "elephant meds" and the ice pack out like a good little invalid, and wish you all a great day. Stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Morning Keith & All, from mixed clouds and Sun, again in Southern Utah!

Currently it is 71F, up from 41F and heading for 73F. We have a slight breeze now, but with this threat of a storm hitting tomorrow, the winds will pick up from the S @ 21 to 28mph. The weather guessers are saying that from tomorrow till Tuesday, we'll be getting a good rain. That worries me, since Chris will be coming home on Monday, from ST George, and the roads between here and there can be really nasty anytime it rains or snows on them. So I'll be :pray1: for her safe return.

For those not following my adventures on the AZ05 ST1300, yesterday I had to pull the swing arm off (again) to fix a problem I caused when I didn't put the rubber dustcover in the right location. It goes on the back of the engine, not the front of the swingarm. Obviously the front hole is not big enough to allow the u-joint to go through it, and the u-joint pulled the dustcover into the tube part of the swing arm, and there is no way to pull it back out, without removing the swing arm! :rolleyes-2x:

Today, I'll be working on the yard, to make up, not working on it this last week, when I was installing the engine into the AZ05 frame. Next week, I'll return to getting the AZ05 parts put back on.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning with. Pepsi(s) on the menu for around lunch (or sooner ;)

Anyone :bl13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good afternoon all.
Thanks for the hot start Keith.
I rushed off to landfill first thing this morning, got my load of the old dock cribbing material unloaded, then met with a pal for a few yarns.

Miss Judy fed me after I assisted with the folding and putting away of my laundry.

Currently 41/50 F, it was chilly this morning, 37F when I left.
A NNE breeze to keep our coats zipped up!

I’m including a few helpful hint to keep you lads on the straight & narrow!
