Don't forget to hydrate.... Your body is a radiator and it does a great job but, just like a radiator, it needs coolant to work.
Doesn't matter what gear you use, mesh or non-mesh, or what vest you use, evaporative or phase change, without water in your system it's all a moot point so take care of that first and address the comfort issues as secondary issues.

I need to pull my camelbak out and clean it. I keep mine empty in the freezer so it doesn't grow mold when not in use.
