It's starting - another summer

Some have already experienced it but here in TX it's just the start of another summer, we are getting ready to hit mid-upper 90's.

Don't forget to hydrate.... Your body is a radiator and it does a great job but, just like a radiator, it needs coolant to work.

Doesn't matter what gear you use, mesh or non-mesh, or what vest you use, evaporative or phase change, without water in your system it's all a moot point so take care of that first and address the comfort issues as secondary issues.

Just wanted to throw that reminder out there.

I need to pull my camelbak out and clean it. I keep mine empty in the freezer so it doesn't grow mold when not in use.

+1 Very hot and humid over the weekend here as well, even close to the beach.
Drank a ton, surprisingly some of it was water

Hot water and those effervescent denture tablets work great too... mom just puts her teeth in there at the same time... multitasking ;-)

I'm thinking about putting the ST in storage till it cools off!!. Just kidding but this is the first bike I have had with a fairing or windshield and it makes it hot on those 95+ deg. days
