I am getting ready to buy a jacket and was wanting to know if anybody has had any of the 3 I am looking at. Any feedback would be helpful seeing that there are no distributors around for me to look at the jackets. Thanks for any info.

The jackets are:
Cortech GX Sport 2
Tour master Pivot 2
Tour master Transition Series 2

I have the Transition and am VERY pleased with it. FYI, it is a HOT one, though. Even though it is well vented and the liner is removable, this bugger can get pretty warm on days above 65. The ST's great weather protection isn't much help when you want to get some air in the vents...

But on the flip side, I wore it with the liner, a long sleeve microfiber shirt and a T-shirt to Moonshine (no electrics) and was comfy. I like the 3/4 length, no wind down my plumbers crack!

Water resistance is good, too!

I also have a First Gear Mesh (bought it used cheap!) for the warmer days.

Also look at <olympiamotosports.com> (note spelling!) for some excellent gear.

I have the Tourmaster Transition and it is water resistant, not water proof. It is OK in light rain, but any steady rain, especially heavy rain, will soak it. I still wear my rain jacket over the Tourmaster in steady rain.

I just got the Tour master Transition Series 2; wore it on the Saddlesore 1000 in OK weekend before last. It's a bargain at the price (NewEnough and MotoGear Outlet had them for a little over $150.) I bought it primarily because they have tall sizes through 3XL. (Be aware that the sizes run a little smaller than "normal" clothing.) It's comfortable, especially the collar. The little zippered pocket on the left sleeve is ideal for your keys. The "hard" armor doesn't seem to intrude. I haven't worn it in warm weather; I prefer mesh if it's 70 or over.

I have a First Gear Kilimanjaro, great cold weather jacket but too warm even with the liner out and vents open much over 60 degrees. First Gear MeshTex II for warm weather. Bought my boss a Tour Master Flex 2 jacket for his retirement, it is billed to be an all season jacket; he likes it a lot.

You might look at the TourMaster FLEX..... great jacket that works VERY well in a WIDE range of temps. I have worn it in 30s and up to 118 (death valley) and been a comfortable as one would expect. Hot IS hot and cold was fine for shorter trips. I have used it for 35,000 miles and the red color has faded some , but the seams and construction are still fine. I really like this jacket! When it gets below 40ish for long trips (over an hour) i use the powerlet heated gear underneath. I have become spoiled with heated gear, but the jacket with all the liners in works VERY well.

I have the Transitions 2 jacket.
I'm 6'2", with a long torso but don't like to have to keep digging the tail of the jacket out from under my butt.

Mine is yellow and it dirties easily, from my gloves, just from unzipping it.

I wore it yesterday on the ST because the previous days ride in the 60's, with my mesh jacket was too cool for a 130 mile ride, on my DR650.
