My wife's friend is also doing well. She spent about a month in rehab, but has been home now for a few weeks.

I’m sure Miata gets a whole lot better gas mileage than my 5.7 liter Hemi. I rode in the back seat laying down with Tammi lead foot driving from D.C. to Oklahoma City.
I had another sample pulled from my knee today. The nurse told me a couple of weeks ago the infection was gone. I guess she miss understand the Dr. hopefully this sample will be negative for infection. If so he wants to wait 4 weeks to pull another sample. He wants 2 negative sample before the new replacement. If not the next step is remove and replace the spacer and more antibiotics until I get a good sample.
It’s been almost 6 months now. Can’t wait to get on one of my bikes!

Had a partial on my right knee last Wednesday morning, so last night was bandage replacement night. No signs of infection!
I get the staples out on the 12th in the surgeons office, so hopefully we’ll continue to dodge the infection bullet.

I just got a call from the Orthopedic Surgeon. The sample came back negative for any infection!!! He wants to pull another in 4 weeks to make absolutely sure the infection is gone. Then schedule surgery for new knee replacement!
I'll say a prayer for you from the emerald isle that you get your new knee replacement soon and that it's a complete success.
Good News! Fingers crossed for another negative sample.
