LED Strobe Brake Light Replacement

I have looked at all the suggested bulbs here and Amazon say they won’t fit my’03 st1300.

It's bad intel on Amazon's part. It said the same thing about similar bulbs I installed as tail/brake lights in 2017.

As to white light to illuminate a license plate some members have mentioned using a small white LED strip attached to the tail light for proper illumination. There are also illuminated license plate frame screws that provide white light. There might even be license plate frames with proper built-in illumination.

I haven't done anything to get white light on my plate. There's not much motivation as I'm seldom on the road at night. It is something I should consider at some point.

I put these on, PIA, I would look at other options if doing it again, then again, if you never touch the back fender you won't care after the install.
