Loctite 51048 - Different labels... same stuff?

Looking for clarification before I place an order. I'm going to buy some Loctite LB8012 and do a little service to my bike.

When I put "Loctite LB8012" into the Amazon search, I see the same part number (Loctite #51048), but I see two different labels.

Oddly enough, I can get either one on Amazon, but for different prices (the one on the right is currently $30.60).

Just want a second opinion that both labels are indeed the same product, and not some weird Loctite history at play.

Anyone? Anyone?
 
Same. I ran into the same thing but looked at the Loctite Product Description Sheets and saw they are the same.
 
I’m pretty sure they’re the same. Mine has this label and came from McMaster.

One is probably new packaging and will be a better use by date.
Although I haven't got a clue which one's which. But someone will.

Yeah, I'm reasonably confident they're the same thing as well, just with a revised label. I went ahead an ordered some (the version on the right).
 
Same stuff, and there's a third number they share. Someone recently posted that there's a better Loctite product.

If you look at the part number on the label it is the same: 51048
But looks like the left one is maybe for a different market. See the Henkel(?) (lower right corner) on the label.
Wait!!! Why is it "Known as Loctite Moly Paste"??
 
The one on the right is a smaller container yet it holds the same 8 oz. How can that be? Clearly they are not the same product. The stuff inside might be, but the container sure is not. Good golly, miss moly!:rofl1:

I found the post; the "better" stuff, which specifies "splines" is Loctite #LB 8103:

I just realized that I haven’t had anything with splines, in a couple of years.

Henkel is the name of the company that bought Loctite several years ago...... they have had all kinds of fun changing names and ordering numbers!!!
I deal with these Henkel issues at least once a week at work.

Well now we know the rest of the story and what moly is newer. Well at least what label is newer. One would assume the age of the product on the interior is the same.
