I found those two pages on the site earlier. They're missing more info than they include.

Those instructions are found in their tutorials, not in the user manual. You can find the tutorials at the same site.
One note of caution. Buy the fastest SD card you can get. It doesn't have to be huge if you allow the DVR to overwrite the oldest files.
When I first tested one of these for Halocam, I was getting skipped frames and half-frames. I figured out the reason was I was trying to cram 2 cameras data, an audio stream, and GPS data through a mediocre SD card.
This would apply to any "dash" cam.

I read that I want 128G with U3 speed.
I thought I had the 64GB card in the HaloCam. That's in the Sena 10C headset instead.

I don't remember what all the codes mean. I did my homework back then after being led astray by Amazon.
Just because Amazon groups the products for a purchase, doesn't make them compatible.

I have the app on my phone, but I can't register or log in. Can the app work without registering?
I removed the app, then re-installed it on my iPhone. When I try to register, it says Login failed.
How do I see the images and control the unit?
Added: In other words, when I start the app, I can not get past Login.

Logging in never did much for you. When the company was in business, your rides were recorded. I think the idea was that you could pull up the ride and it would show you where you were at and at what speed you were going at the time of an accident. The GPS still does activate on the bike, but as far as I know, the data goes nowhere.
The app does allow you to see on your phone what the cameras are seeing, and you can pull up what was recorded earlier. Usually, I'll just pull out the SD card and look at any videos directly on my laptop.

That's what I am trying to do. How do I get past the Login/Register screen on the iPhone app?
I have the app on my phone, and I have successfully networked the phone and main unit (DVR).
The problem is that, when I open the app, it wants me to Login or Register. That's as far as I get.
I need to figure out either how to Login or Register, or how to get the app to stop asking me to.

The simple explanation is I had to log in as Visitor to get in. It works!

I’ve been using Motocam for a couple years without the app’.
Only issue is not being able to change any settings.

You can fully use the Halocam with the buttons on the DVR portion and the screen. The app just gives you a different interface to do all the same things.
