As per some of your recomendations I installed the "blue one" fender extinsion I ordered from MCL. As with the bar risers the instructions along with pictures made for an easy installation. I got one of those tools from Lowes that they use to smooth out the silicone used for batroom and kitchen. the installation came out really clean. I did use a second set of hands to put the welding clamp on while I held the fender extension in place. Having a some one to help for that fase of the installation I think is a good idea. Thank you to all of you who responded. I was told to make sure to use ABS glue and not the pvc glue. My only regret is that I waited until I had 24,000 on the bike to do it. My next bike I will put one on when it is still new.
