1. a warm, delicious alternative
to hating everyone forever...

G'Day...

Nespresso starter fluid at home, Nescafé at the office, I think there still some hazel-cinnamon 'crockssants' in the brake-room...

6°/19°C today, a crisp morning with haze, partially sunny... and a rain warning for tomorrow...
ST commute effortless as usual...

office, short debates about UNF 5/8" vs SAE 3/8" which I quickly muted by pointing into a catalogue table for refrigeration flare nuts... ;)
A few offers, checking for computer updates...
(did a BIOS flash update yesterday ; methinks no one else cares about their machines though... but you won't hear the end of it when they crap out...)

Oh, and I actually placed an order at Temu... ;)
M5 well-nuts, various rubber fairing grommets, 200ml syringe, angled valve gauges... that crap costs peanuts there...

Have a nice week-divider!

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the cup, Martin.

Foggy, and 63, while waiting on the dawn. The high of 80 will bring about iced tea and short britches.

I’m still finishing up some work on the bike, getting it ready to ride in the rain at FerrySToc. Now I just have to find a rain suit that fits an oversized dog.

John

good morning all. thanks for the coffee Martin. 62F on the dog walk with a bright moon and a lot of clouds for it to hide behind but as always an enjoyable walk.
I have gym this morning and nothing for the afternoon. a little cooler today with the high only to be 80F.
yesterday afternoon I took a walk with out the dogs. sometimes I need a constant speed and my two sure take time to smell the flowers or at least pee on them. I came across a run over rattle snake on the road. so its their time to start coming out with the high temps. enjoy the day and be careful where you step.

stay safe

Good morning everyone

Thanks for the coffee, Martin. I particularly enjoyed today's funny, too.

It's 61°F and cloudy in Rockville, and soggy too after yesterday's day-long drenching. It must've continued raining into the wee hours of this morning because everything's still as wet as if it had just been hosed off. Mostly cloudy and a high of 70 are anticipated, with chances of rain returning around 2100 hours. That leaves a big enough window for a round of goof; I canceled the 0750 tee time at our usual course because of the conditions, but made one for later in the morning at another course we like. Conditions there will be better.

I got in and out of the Costco parking lot killing zone unscathed yesterday

FTFY. I assume that your venture into the store itself DID leave a mark on your credit/debit card, though. If @womantriker is anything like Mrs. Fun, it's likely to be a rather hefty dent, to boot.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning, and thanks for the coffee start, Martin.

It's 54 and the sun's burning through the clouds in MA.
The temperature should rise to 72, and it will remain cloudy.
Rain is predicted for tonight.

Yesterday's visit to my friend's restaurant went better than I thought it would. The grease trap didn't stink too much through my mask, and it was merely tedious, due to the size of the cup I was using. The first time was a learning experience.
I went back to mow and trim.

After that, I had a late "breakfast", and talked Brenda into a ride on the Wing.
We rode down to Mystic, where we had Linner at Mystic Pizza. They have an "Everything Burger" that I couldn't finish, and the plate was heaped high with french fries.

Today, I'll head over to the gym, and then back to the restaurant. He's got some old school flouescent outdoor lights, that I'll replace with LED.
Maybe I'll get around to my own home projects...

Enjoy the day,
Steve

Good morning, all, and thanks for the coffee, Martin (and for not terrorizing my village).

Looks like Montreal's in its first heatwave of the year. We have another mainly sunny day here, with temps ranging from the current 15°C/59°F to 27°C/81°F with a feels-like of 30°C/86°F. My AC isn't working properly (never has) and I informed my landlord (who's not really a "landlord" in the commercial sense - he's the guy who owns the condo) that I'm not going to live through another sweltering summer without adequate AC. He came over several days ago to look at it, tinkered with stuff, said "it should be working now" and asked me to "monitor" it. He doesn't want to have to pay the $300 just to have a technician come look at it. Well, tough noogies, he's going to have to. I'm not having this. I'll be taking photos of the thermostats (which were still at 26°C/79°F yesterday evening, after almost the whole day with the AC on) and sending them to him. Sigh. As if I don't have enough tsores (a wonderful Yiddish word meaning trouble, aggravation, etc.) to deal with.

In the mean time, I gots tings to do, so I'll go do them. Everyone have a great day, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Good Morning, thanks Martin for coffee and the funny picture. Blanking mind hamsters this morning woke up at 4 am,no ,bladder woke me hamsters didn't let me fall back asleep. Finally gave up and had breakfast. Thankfully stomach is feeling okay this morning. Phone says cloudy with a 20% chance of rain at 7 am clearing up in the afternoon, so hopefully get a ride in later today. 52 F high of 61 F perfect temperature for my ride. Managed to install a helmet lock to the Givi trunk holder yesterday, went rather easy for once. Just had to drill two 1/4" holes and find metric bolts the right length.
Hand doctor appointment yesterday, pretty much a waste of time, nothing new. Y'all have a wonderful day,GIMG_6827.jpgIMG_6833.jpg

Good morning and thanks for the coffee . Here in Poverty Gulch we have cloudy weather with a bit of rain . Worked on a 1911 White car yesterday and it was a very cool thing to fix ,no picture til tomorrow . Off to old guy wooden bat baseball as long as the precipitation holds off. Ride safe and have a great day EH !

Thanks for the start, Martin.
And thanks to all who sent me birthday wishes. I spent all day yesterday trying to Google everyone's mailing address, to send thank-you cards, but gave up after 7 painstaking, unsuccessful hours. Guess I'm not cut out for cyber-security and internet detective work, so this is your thank you note. It took so long I never got to post in yesterday's coffee ☕️ thread.
John, if you fund s decent raincoat fit Teddy, please let me know. I bought a cheap one, XL, for Kaiser, but it's still too small.
Speaking of, our week of rain has mostly cleared out, so we'll ride again today, at long last. High today 83, I can dig it.
Now I really need to cut the grass again, I may have to inspect the carburetor, even though it's been run regularly... and only on non-ethanol.
But that's how most of my YouTube college professors seem to fix the chinstrap during problem. It will have to wait for the weekend.
Well, it's time to go now. I have to get started on my next trip around the sun... but I'm doing the orbit faster every year, it would seem.
Be well and do well. And try to feel well while you're doing all that.

Thx Martin!
You were right about the a/c on the car, it was a hole, in the condensator.
The local shop says $1300, and the Toyota dealership says $1600 to replace and gas up.
Think I’ll go for the OEM.

Been errands for my coming trip to Oslo again on Sunday.
Lots of stuff like a handwash with cabinet, faucet, popup valve etc.

Movin lawn later.

12˚c/50f, sunny, nasty 40mph wind from northwest.

Have a good one!
Stu

My new seat from Topsellerie…..very comfy, beautiful work me think, long version with gelpads.

G'mornin' y'all! Its a muggy/froggy 67F/19.5C in SoMD. Got juuuust under 2 inches of rain yesterday. Hence driving in yesterday and today. Hence the need for coffee to prevent mass murder of all nearby self-titled, overly-entitled drivers, so thank you Martin! I tell you, if police got commission for every ticket written, I would become one and retire within a year just policing the one stretch of road I commute on. People suck.

Just work today, maybe some volleyball afterwards. Weather doesn't look good for riding until at least Sunday. Time for that second cup to keep my officemates safe. Take care y'all!

Costco had discontinued what I went for, so a bag of grapefruit was the only damage to my card, $4.49!

Morning all! Grey and overcast here though the weather network says it will clear up by this afternoon. Currently 12C with a high of 16C to come.

Working from home today so the commute was a bit shorter and less involved. Not as much fun though. I have my home office back now that my daughter's boyfriend has moved into the suite with the departure of the outlaws. Have a bunch of things to get to work wise so best get started.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Martin & All from mostly cloudy, Southern Utah!

Currently it si 48F, up from 39F and heading for 59F! At least the winds have settled down. Although one thing not expected from the series of storms, was low altitude SNOW! We can see it on the mountains, thank goodness, none in the valley here! I'd take a picture of it, but the clouds are covering it up! The winds have died down for now, but later, they will be back from the WNW @ 10 to 13mph.

Yesterday, I ran the AZ05 ST1300 for two 15 minutes runs. Everything seems to be doing good. :hat3:

Today, once the grass dries, I'll mow the lawns. In the meantime, I might add the front cowl to the AZ05. We'll see.

Chris made us some pancakes, which I washed down with OJ. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:
