Yo!
Here’s some fresh and slowbrewed coffee ( brand Kjeldsberg..organic..) to threat your mojo right.
You may also listen to Dr. John while slurping, he knows a thing or two about mojos as well.

Yesterday I skipped my chores and went for a beautiful ride.
Perfect weather, little traffic, no awards for speeding.

Today we have 13˚/55f, 15mph breeze from south, and some rain is approaching.

A fine day for fixing the choke lever on my Jonsered chainsaw.

Have a good one, just fix it whatever it is!

Good morning everyone

You may also listen to Dr. John while slurping, he knows a thing or two about mojos as well.

Thanks for the mojo coffee, Stoo.

It's 71°F (feels like 76) and sunny in Rockville, but scattered showers and possibly strong stors are possible or expected by later this afternoon and into the evening, kicking off a week or so of cool weather and 50/50 chances of rain through at least Tuesday. Even so, we're not expecting to get drowned, or even especially inundated with wet:

I've got a dental appointment to have a crown replaced this morning, followed by a round of goof.

Stay safe and well everyone and tell your dear ones you love them. Do it today, NOW, for tomorrow may be too late.

Good morning all!
Thanks for the Java SToo!
I’m camping out in Brooksville, the moving truck is supposed to be arriving, loading up, then leaving for the east coast any day now.
I’m chomping at the bit! I’ve never been great dealing with the waiting game!

Currently 73F topping off about 93 with a few thunderstorms in the mix.

Steve, I trust you’re taking your time to relax and caring for your injury!

You lot do your best to be stay safe!
Remember our wee Pal from over there, on the other shore who is probably getting some riding in about now! Too bad, that he got himself trashed! He may still be watching!
Enjoy your day!

G'morning, all, and thanks for the coffee and mojo, Stu!

It was a rather uncomfortable night, so all my windows are currently open to let in this morning's very welcome stiff breeze. Of course, that also means that I'm sneezing my fool head off (the tree pollen is horrendous this year), but you can't have everything...where would you put it??
The day will be mostly sunny and still warm, but not as hot and sticky as yesterday. 20°C/68°F now, 25°C/77°F later, with respective feels-likes of 22°C/72°F and 28°C/82°F. We'll be back to seasonal temps or below tomorrow.

@Andrew Shadow: Sorry, missed your question yesterday. No, my AC unit is STILL not working properly. I turned it on at the "powerful" setting at about noon yesterday; by 9 p.m., it was still 27°C (81°F) in every room. The whole system (wall-mounted unit, filters and condenser) was cleaned last year and checked for leaks - I was told no leaks and the freon was fine. I will clean the filter today and try a reset by turning off the breaker for 20 minutes, then test it again. I doubt it will change anything, but at least I will have done as much "due diligence" as I can. After all that, if it still isn't doing much, I'll contact my landlord again. He's a good guy, he'll respond.

Right, I'm off to slay the dragon or something. Everybody have a good one, stay safe and go safely.

Patty

Yeah, I'm hobbling around better.
I've been staying away from the gym, since I'm not supposed to do any heavy lifting after my surgery. If the traveling nurse or PT folks show up this week, I'll revisit that with them.

I've got a few days at the track to do, starting tomorrow and Friday.
Loudon athe end of the month...

Good morning, everyone. Thanks for the Mojo coffee, Stu. Mo better than regular Joe.

78/85, with chance of afternoon showers, which we badly need. I mowed for a couple of hours yesterday, in a swirling dust cloud so bad that I’m pretty sure I have dust and grit behind my eyeball. I tried flushing it out from the inside with a cold adult beverage and that seemed to help.

Some gusty winds on Monday night, blew down more tree limbs that were weakened by the Jan ice storm, so today I’ll add them to my fire pit woodpile.

Just one more…the original.

Morning all! Sunny and blue sky here, 13C now, 17C later.

Took the car to work today. I had gone to pick up the bike from the shop post spring tune up yesterday and the mechanic mentioned that I would need to replace the rear brake pads pretty soon. I told him that I was going to be running through the Rockies to Calgary and we (actually my wife who drove me over to pick it up) decided that replacing them pre-trip made more sense. So, left the bike with him and will pick it up tomorrow in time to head out early Friday. New tailbag arrived yesterday, 65L so lots of room though I'll be careful about using all of it, the rider is carrying enough extra weight thank you, no need to amend the centre of gravity any further. It looks like a pretty decent bit of kit with roll up closure and straps galore.

I went in a different direction with the whole mojo thing:

Kind of explains the extra weight on the rider doesn't it?

Stoo, I'll say it again, you sure live in purty part of the world.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Morning Stu & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 60F, up from 33F and heading for 69F. My normal wind indication was ripped out of the ground yesterday (neighbors are re-doing their front yard), so, looking farther away, I can see we have a breeze going. Later the winds will be out of the NNW @ 10 to 17mph.

Stu, great picture and great that you were able to get out a ride a bit.! :hat3:

My MoJo, got up and left me standing at a corner in Arizona, taking off with some girl in a flatbed Ford....

About the only thing I got done yesterday, besides papers being Notarized, I fed the birds!

Today is Wednesday, so it's mow the lawn, and kill weeds!

Eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) for later.

Anyone :bk13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

G'dafternoon from the office! Thanks for the mojo boost, Stu! It's pretty danged warm outside, 94F/34C. It was a warm ride in too, not much breeze to keep cool when your stuck in traffic.

They were having a cookout celebration at lunchtime but by the time we got to the front of the line they ran out of food! I was handed the last veggie burger (no bun), and I gave it to the gal next in line to me...someone else could appreciate it better than my old, carnivorous ways. So we scuffled back to cool shelter with a bottle of lukewarm water, a bag of Cheetos (the second to last in the box), and a choc cupcake. An unusual lunch combo, but it was free. Fret not as I had a sandwich in reserve in the fridge. So, no, handing the burger off wasn't as noble as it sounds...i had a tr**p card in hand.

I expect a terrible commute home, but hope to get something done tonight. Lawn was mowed yesterday so that's out of the way in anticipation of rain/storms/hype. Take care y'all!

I was feeding the birds on the deck this morning, when a hawk went through the buffet line and helped himself to one of my young squirrels in the cottonwood tree. Slightly terrifying to watch.

John

One of the neighborhood cats came by this morning, but the birds were too quick for her.

Wife called me during the morning to tell me that one of our Berners found a baby rabbit in the dog run and brought it to her for a gift. She put it down to let it scamper away when the other Berner decided to chase it. Thankfully, it made it to the gate that encloses the breezeway and was able to squeeze through it while he had to pull up short. You can breed and domesticate 'em as much as you want but instinct never says die.
