Morning all! Mix of sun and cloud here this morning, though the weather network claims there's light rain. Either way, they also say it's 6C and we can expect a high of 10C.

Had an adventure on the weekend; we took the ferry over to the mainland and drove about 6 hours north to Clearwater where we picked up the latest addition to the menagerie; a 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog named Bella. She is absolutely one of the sweetest dogs. Her owner had just obtained full time employment and with two young kids felt she couldn't give Bella the time she deserved. She'll be a great companion for our 3 year old male Finn. Probably not our wisest decision from a purely practical viewpoint but inspired from every other one. She's a keeper.

Hope you make out of Obo, stay safe. Speaking of staying safe, we're hoping my wife's sister and family make out ok in Puerta Vallarta. They have a time share down there and both their kids and partners were down visiting them when all heck broke loose. Hopefully the authorities (you have to say that in Cartman's voice) get it handled quickly.

Stu, I missed the news about your father in law. I am really sorry, condolences to you and your family.

Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe!

Bella is on the right.

Morning Obo & All from sunny, Southern Utah!

Currently it is 42F, up from 21F and heading for 55F. No breeze yet, but later the winds will be out of the WSW @ 8 to 9 mph. The snow is still melting. At least the drive and sidewalks are clear, so I don't have to move/remove any.

I was awaken by my phone telling me that the bug people were coming by. This was around 8AM! Poor guys, having to go out in these cold morning to kill bugs that are still frozen, somewhere under the ground!

I'm sure glad I'm able to park my vehicles in the garage! In the past, I've had to deal with scraping the ice & snow off of them, so I could get to work.

Chris is down in LA, so I get to do what I want... well, not really. I have a bunch of stuff around here to keep me busy. But, by Thursday, the temp is supposed to be 67F, so I'm planning a nice long ride. We'll see if that happens.

Boiled eggs, bacon, toast & OJ to start the morning. Pepsi(s) later.

Anyone :dr13:, have a great day on the roads! :hat3:

Good afternoon all!
Thanks Obo, for the first cup!
I’m waiting on friends, we’re out for dinner at China Buffet in Fort Myers.
Keith, where are you headed in Florida?
If you’re close to North Fort Myers, I’d welcome a meetup. That goes for all the good folks on here!
Great to see you post, John!
Enjoy your evening!

Thanks Brian. I'll be doing coral restoration outplanting (SCUBA diving) down in the Keys, well south of where you are. We'll be based at the Scouting USA SeaBase facility in Islamorada but actually working from the Brinton Environmental Center about 24 miles north of Key West.

Thats too bad!
Enjoy the keys!
If you find yourself on Big Pine Key, there’s the No Name Bar that’s fun!

Indeed. You have enough issue with dogs in trailers.
I have no idea what you're talking about.
The only issue i thought I had was when I thought the lock had jammed or broke 2 weeks ago, but was merely frozen temporarily.
If there is any issue, it's Kaiser's issue just because we can't ride all day every day. But if we did ride all day every day, then I WOULD have an issue, keeping us in gas and tires.

I've always liked the BMDs.

I've always liked the BMDs.

Neighbors had one.

I don't know how many pairs of socks and panties the thing ate and then crapped out on my lawn.

For the record, not our socks or panties, only our yard.

Also for the record, I got very good at flinging them back into their yard with a shovel when they didn't collect them.

Tag yoursh it.

8:36pm and we have over a foot down. Blowing drifts are 4-5' from what I can tell. Hard to see with the whiteouts out the windows. I did venture out once to the back garage and the snow was over my mucklucs.

It's just below freezing and it's a wet heavy snow now, on top of the lighter stuff from earlier.

We're down to just over 1cm/hr, and it's supposed to stop around 9am tomorrow.

At least the power's still on!
