Have a small car? Little to no luggage space? Have a hitch receiver but no trailer?

No problems then with this setup. Just fill your top case and panniers and head for the twisties

And yes, it's wired with lights for extra safety.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just throw a large duffle bag on the already installed luggage rack?

If you’re already wearing a belt, then why add suspenders.
